Hotel was ok...

Posted 14-Mar-2016
Pros: it was an ok hotel..
Cons: perhaps the breakfast timings should be extended given it takes about 10 minutes to walk from the furthest room at this property to where breakfast is
Location: ben and jerry's Cabot cheese factory stowe skiing resort
We booked a suite in this hotel for our New Years celebration and the hotel did not do anything out of ordinary for celebrating the new year. We were expecting something nice given that we were coming from NY. Our stay was ok, the room upstairs was very very hot we had to open the windows in the middle of the winter which made the downstairs cold. The heaters were not regulated properly. Our room was not done the next day even though we were out the whole day and put the sign for housekeeping. I also made a reminder call before we left to clean the room and was still not done. It was very disappointing.

Layout of facility was a little confusing.

Posted 6-Mar-2016
Pros: Very cozy and clean
Cons: Out side the room in the morning there was alot of debris on the ground such as cigarette butts and dirt.
We had to have a map of how to get to our room. The room was very cozy and had everything we would ever need for a great getaway.

Missing blankets, towels, broken appliances, dusty

Posted 2-Mar-2016
Will not be returning, people were nice but not worth the hassles of a dirty, broken down hotel with it missing so many amenities

Housekeeping never came to clean our room, front desk wouldn't bring extra blankets up, the breakfast was awful and the pool wasn't heated and we brought that to the front desks admin and the said "yea it's takes a few days to warm up and we forgot to turn it on... So nothing we can do"

Lots of room for the money

Posted 22-Feb-2016
The suite was awesome. Two floors, 3 TVs, and 2 full baths. The full kitchen with all the things you need was great. Only stayed one night with 4 preteens and they loved it. Breakfast was the best I have ever had at a hotel that was included. Plus the pool was open 7am -10pm. Best deal in the Burlington area.

Facility tired, pull out sofa mattress should have been replaced years ago.

Great for family's

Posted 18-Feb-2016 on Hotels
Our family had a great time! We stayed for 3 nights and will definitely be back. Our room was wonderful and had everything we needed. My children loved having the loft bedroom upstairs for their own personal space. Our only complaint was not having any TV our last night there... They said they were working on fixing it but it was a slow process.

Ample space, with great set up.

Posted 14-Feb-2016
I checked in late but the staff was very pleasant, the only thing is when we went to park there was not enough parking space close to our room. So we had to parking across the way, and it was a very cold night. Other than that the suite was very accommodating and the beds and pillows were very comfortable had a great night sleep. Breakfast was from 6-9 but they are very nice to keep it going linger for those late morning people like myself. Overall great stay.

Dirty, old, weird layout, rude staff

Posted 11-Feb-2016 on Orbitz
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Uncomfortable beds, cold air blew under the door, dirty carpets, no utensils for cooking or eating despite the kitchen
Location: Not much in winter. Ski at Stowe..
I cannot conceive of how this hotel has an avg 4.1 rating. It's TERRIBLE. Dirty, uncomfortable, weird layout, and VERY old and tired looking. Stayed here because of the Sonesta name - I guess they must have bought it and haven't refurbished it yet. Do not stay here.
