We wanted a cozy, comfortable spot within walking distance of downtown, and that’s exactly what we got. The whole vibe was welcoming—we were especially fans of the artwork that filled the apartment. Luckily, neither of us needed to work during our stay, but if we had, the “office” in the entry hall was set up perfectly for those needs. We also really appreciated the “small” things: plentiful coat hooks and towel racks; a variety of lighting/lamp options; fun dishware in the kitchen. Our hosts were extremely communicative via “notes” left throughout the apartment, and they responded quickly to questions. Nice touch of dog bowls for pet that was welcome. Very good location to walk to town. When AC went out overnight, owner responded quickly with a new unit in the morning. My only caveat is that while there is a sofa bed for use in the living room space, when it is open, you cannot exit the bedroom and the one bathroom is accessible from the bedroom only. So we had to climb over the open sofabed during the night. So this unit would be best for a couple in the bedroom only. ##### Max S.
