Light a fire in the campfire pit, the propane pit on the porch, or in the fire place. This dog friendly property is an easy drive from Houston and easy to locate. WiFi is available, but cell signal remained strong throughout our trip. TV is available, but we didn't use it. Whether it was 49 degrees or 81 degrees, we found ourselves very comfortable outdoors as there were options for sun and shade, as well as a porch with fans or fire pit. I haven't fished since I was a kid, but I'm tempted to when I return. We watched fish jump all weekend and bass boats hang out in front of the house. I suspect it's good fishing in this area. The house had everything we needed to be comfortable and everything worked fine. I'm very grateful that our dogs were welcome. They lived their best lives this weekend and watching my 10 year old act like a pup is a precious memory - we cherish these days with her more than ever.
