Our villa - the retro villa - was very dark and not very comfortable. The bedroom was ok at lest that hot some sun. The outdoor sitting area was very ordinary - needs a big tidy up and reffresh however some of the smaller villas look like their verandahs were a lot nicer to sit outside - at least they got some sun. The motel is in a great position in town. Waited till 08:36 to hand back keys, no one was at reception as sign said they would be there at 08:30\. Really friendly staff - Susan was particularly helpful with our late check in. Fantastic location a block back from the Esplanade, plenty of cafes and restaurants near by. Room was really peaceful and felt private even though it is so central to the main strip.
