Being on the private side of the lake, you will appreciate the convenience of being near the Elk Creek Country Store, where watercraft fuel, ice, and food are available. Take your boat out on the lake for leisurely rides when you utilize the community boat ramp or use the kayaks on the private dock. The huge backyard features a scenic deck, a stone fire pit, and a gazebo which makes it perfect for entertaining, playing yard games, or relaxing with family and friends. We took the kayaks out and enjoyed the lake. The outside dinning table was very nice and comfortable. My wife and I spent some evening time out at the gazebo and really enjoyed it. It just felt good to relax and enjoy our surroundings. While we were there we saw Elon Musk's Starlink Satellite Train in the night sky. THAT was real treat. It's very clear a lot of thought was put into the layout and amenities. Each room has a unique view of the lake and its own character. My favorite was the covered porch that has a nearly 180 view of the lake. Makes you feel that you're sitting above it. My wife loved the "Lounge." She found it very quiet and peaceful. The kids disappeared into their basement "apartment" for the weekend. Appreciated the snow removal prior to our arrival. House was very clean and there were plenty of cooking/cleaning/eating utensils. We found the general neighborhood very quiet. It's about a 5 minute walk at the most to the convenience store which has a small selection of adult beverages and fried catfish filet sandwiches on Fridays. Jul 16, 2023 #### Relaxing Family Vacation A family vacation that doesn’t break the bank! Our family had such a fun and relaxing time at this house. There was plenty of space for everyone and the outside amenities were perfect. The water was quite warm but evening swims were so perfect and enjoyable after dinner. We also enjoyed sunset kayak rides, playing corn hole under the shaded trees, s’mores by the fire pit, and all the yard games. We would definitely vacation here again! ##### Abigail H. Jul 9, 2023 #### Wow factor on full display The wow factor is on full display at Viewtopia! Amazing location and truly spectacular lake view with all the amenities you need and want in a lake house getaway. I visited with friends over a long weekend and we loved every minute. We especially enjoyed kayaking, lawn games, visiting local wineries and sitting around the beautiful fire pit at night. The layout of the house is perfectly suited for families-great kids room!-or a weekend with friends, and the walkout lower level with separate kitchen is an added bonus. Jul 8, 2023 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Beautiful and comfortable home, amazing lakefront home with spectacular sunrise/sunsets Such a comfortable and beautiful home! This home has lake views from practically every room. From the moment we stepped into the home we felt at home. The beds and couches were super comfy. The appliances all worked properly and the ac was particularly cool and gave us relief on some of the most hottest days of the summer. This house actually had more than was listed on the listing. We like to cook and this home had everything we needed to make great meals for our family plus nice little extras in the bathrooms (soaps, vanity mirrors and chairs for our teenage girls). There were enough Kayaks and life jackets for our family to all go out together plus a cool floating mat to use too. The fire pit was awesome at night for s’mores. There are Board Games, movies, outdoor games, bbq and a convenience store right at the end of the road too. Larger grocery store was only 10 minutes away. We felt safe at this home as it is gated and secluded. Neighbors were also very friendly. They even had a fireworks show! We enjoyed a day of swimming and fishing at Lake Anna state park and mini golf. We ventured to Fredericksburg to shop….so many wonderful little shops that we ran out of time so next time we will definitely have to take in all of its rich history.
