Fantastic Guest House

Incredibly friendly and very accomodating. Was shown to my room and had everything explained, even showed me how to open the windows as they were not your standard open and close. Room clean and homely. Bed was comfy and bathroom clean. Lovely breakfast in the morning. I would stay here again without any hesitation at all!

Great location for Groe parkrun

We chose Bronwye for it's proximity to Groe parkrun and the location in Builth Wells for visiting relatives and it was definitely a good choice Our rooms were clwan very comfortable and had everything we needed The hosts Sandra &Tony couldn't do enough for us Breakfast was really good to.

Last minute booking and owners were shocked to see us as apparently they weren’t taking any bookings. However they welcome us with open arms, gave us a better room and fed us a hearty breakfast the next morning.

We had a very warm welcome from Tony and Sandra. The room was comfortable, impeccably clean and very inviting. The hosts couldn’t do enough for us and had a welth of knowledge about the local,area, from suggestions of things to do to the best places to eat in town. They accommodated our dietary needs brilliantly and the breakfast room was lovely too. Despite the weather we had a lovely stay and the property is in a great position both for local visits and the town itself. Highly recommended!

Wouldn’t 10000% stay again!

Can’t fault anything! The hosts Tony and Sandra are very kind, caring and down to earth. Nothing is ever too much hassle, and they truly try to make your stay amazing. From comfort, cleanliness, amazing breakfast, to even becoming a travel information desk with advice on what to do and where to go to make the most of your stay. Would advise anyone to stay here. Me and my partner felt completely relaxed, safe and at home. We will most definitely be back! X

Quality, luxury and friendliness in Builth Wells

The stay here was amazing. I received a lovely welcome from the new owners Sian and Eifion. The room was beautiful with a view of the fields and river Wye. There was a complimentary tea and coffee tray. With a variety of different coffees, herbal tea and the tea bags in a jar. Not the mandatory two or three and one or two milks. It also included a teapot. The quality of bedding, towels and pillows were extremely comfortable. I had a delicious breakfast this morning, with homemade strawberry yoghurt included. The main breakfast was delightful with back bacon you needed to cut through, I have never had such quality, not even in the top branded hotels. It was way beyond my expectations. I would definitely stay there again.

Lovely host . Accommodation was superb. Mobile chargers , shower cap , amazing range of teas and coffee . Lovely shower . Mattress was excellent and high quality linen. Very boutique .
