This has to be the worst hotel stay of my entire life. The building is under construction, or so they say, so it’s a mess to begin with. As for my room: there was a hole in the wall just inside the door, the bathroom door lock was broken, the toilet seat was attached with one extremely loose screw and would swing around freely, the TV didn’t work, and the bar soaps left for use were all crumbs inside the packages. I asked the staff to fix the bathroom issues but was told that they didn’t have a maintenance person and therefore couldn’t fix them. That’s unacceptable. I was told they would be giving me a partial refund but that never happened. The manager was going to call me to talk about my stay but that, too, never happened. At certain price points you don’t expect much, but a toilet that my kids can sit on without falling off onto the floor is a must at any price. Terrible, tiny rooms; incompetent staff that couldn’t do a thing to aid guests; and management that doesn’t give a hoot about their property or their guests. Avoid this hotel at all costs. A cardboard box outside in the winter would be a better stay.
