The hotel was nice but you could tell it was an old building. My room was as pictured online. The only thing that concerned me was that I didn't feel like my door lock was safe enough.

Came to Buffalo for a concert and stayed here. Perfect location. Close to bars and restaurants Love the lobby. Staff were super nice. Great price. Stay here again

The rooms were interesting and unique. The beds were very soft and lumpy. The hallways were over scented with air freshener. We had to wait for a staff member to assist us at check in and staff were not professionally dressed or seemed more like maintenance staff. The common areas were dusty and dirty. It seemed that they are slowly restoring the hotel.

We were greeted enthusiastically by Zach. He explained where everything was around the area, Made us feel very Welcome and comfortable. Our rooms were delightful, so clean and spacious loved the layout of both rooms. We will definitely be back! At checkout, Zach was working again made sure we enjoyed our stay and we're happy with everything. It is so nice to see a young professional male enjoying his job in the hospitality industry. Keep up the wonderful work Zack!

I really wish they had told me before the night before that the restaurant/bar was shut down. That was a large part of why I chose this hotel. That was very disappointing

Check in and check out was a very easy process. Staff was very kind and friendly. The only downfall that I felt was a lot of creeks and noises that travel through the old hallways.

Came across the border for a Detroit/Buffalo game. Conveniently place 7 minutes across the border and a 15 minute walk to the rink. Staff was friendly and helpful, the only downside was when we checked into our room and got our keys they didn’t initially work. Had to reactivate our keys only to use them and walk into a room that was still occupied. Not ideal whatsoever or comforting. They did upgrade up immediately to the presidential suite but we felt a little jarred to leave our stuff. Everything turned out fine in the end and things were kept safe.

The location was walkable to Keybank Center. This hotel had so much history and so unique than other modern hotels. The room was massive with barn door. The rooms were very clean. The front desk staff was very friendly and was very informed with the history of the hotel

Staff were amazing. Rooms needed maintenance. When we got there, the sheets were stained, shower floor was missing tiles, black mould on the grout, handles of bathroom door kept falling off, carpet had stains. Just generally lower standards than we'd expected.

Amazing staff that were very responsive and accommodating! Love the unique design and vintage look. The 1st floor coffee shop had great food and drinks and was a necessity to get us going the next morning. Highly recommend!

The outside of the property looks nice. The rooms look like they just slapped some paint on the walls. A vintage style property that has not been properly maintained and taken care of. Property has lots of potential with the right management and ownership.

Nice grand old hotel!!

Beautiful place
I wish there was queen bed options. Not a good stay for two guys that are not a couple. The safe in the room was locked when i arrived. The front desk attended tried but was unsuccessful in opening it. We loved the architecture and history of the building. I will be back with my wife. The Front Desk staff was great.

I think you need to deep clean your hotel and upgrade the maintenance of the interior. I thought it looked slightly run down in places. I love staying there but I could see myself looking for a different 3/4 star hotel in the future.

I love the vibe of the rooms and the overall feel to the hotel. It does have sort of a "on its way out" feel and with the impending sale of the bar it was sort of a bummed out feel. But i did like staying there.
