This was an excellent place to stay. I am a real stickler when it comes to cleanliness, and my room was spotless and huge! There were lots of lights, including a nightlight in the bathroom.

The bathtub had dirt in it. Sheets had stains on them. Closet had someone clothes in it. Front desk not helpful. I had to email hotel general manager, as of morning, no response.

We didn't like their control of things that were going on.. There were kids yelling, running all over and no one was trying to get the situation under control.. Many guests complained but nothing was done about it..

This is our second time staying at this hotel, and it didn’t disappoint. Not fancy, but has everything you need for a basic stay. Clean and spacious rooms. Breakfast buffet with a decent selection to get you on the go in the morning. Barb in the breakfast area is a gem! With the busyness of many hockey teams, and their families coming through the breakfast area… She remained helpful, friendly, and kind. She even offered to wash my coffee thermos for me. Great location, Starbucks, super Walmart less than five minutes away. It has become a great option for us when we have last-minute snowboarding visits to Ellicottville only a 45 minute easy drive.

On our first night, we stayed in a room located near the freeway, which was noisy, as the sound of passing vehicles could be heard loud and clear. That room was also missing a blackout shade and the parking lot street lights were very bright. The front desk staff was able to reassign us to a different room on the second night, which was much better! Also, there were 3 kids hockey teams that stayed during out time there and kids were running rampant around the property; however, I understand this is out of the hotel's control.

The girl who checked us in seemed bothered that she had to work. She simply told us we were on the 3rd floor, when breakfast was and check out time. Didn’t great us when we got here. Didn’t say goodbye after we checked in. She was just plain rude.

The elevator needs to be cleaned. There is what looks like and I add hopefully milk shake on the walls with lots of fingerprints. Ugh! Just gross. There was a pill I found on the rug in my room. A child could have easily found that and swallowed it and became sick. This only lets me know the rug wasn’t vacuumed properly. The tub needs to be snaked because as I took a shower the bathtub filled up with water. It was close to being filled up. I stood there trying to get clean but I’m standing in a tub of the filth just cleaned off my body. Also I had to clean hair that was still in the tub. I sprayed it down with Lysol after. I wasn’t going to even eat the free breakfast there. I was traumatized enough.

The best thing was the friendliness of the staff. However that did not make up for finding pills,pennies & clumps of hair on the floor of the room upon check in. It also does not diminish that our room was not “freshened” one day - which if it was the policy - that would be fine. I mentioned it to the front desk- again friendly and helpful- and she arranged for the room to be cleaned, but when we returned in the evening there was blood ( not mine) on the pillow case. The neighbors upstairs were ridiculously loud from 3:15 AM on so we were glad our stay was over. We were told that since we booked through Expedia, there was nothing the front desk could do to try to compensate for the inconvenience! Something to think about.

My husband and I were visiting our daughter at college. We made a last-minute decision to stay at this hotel. It was a great choice. The room was clean, bed comfortable enough, and breakfast had many choices.

Hotel looks relatively new. Very clean with friendly staff. Comfy and pool was a plus for the kids. Free breakfast had a nice selection. Had no issues and would definitely stay again!
