Just steps from Main Street and a short walk to South Main, town square and the Arkansas River. This house is super clean, with new appliances and furniture. You're just 10 minutes from Cottonwood and Mt. Princeton Hot Springs and 20 minutes from Salida. Get to Monarch and Ski Cooper ski resorts in under an hour. This is our 2nd home and we want to share it with others who will treat it like their own. Features 3 bedrooms: 1 king bed, 1 queen bed and a bunk bed with a twin over double. The living room has a nice, new sleeper sofa. Bonus room that can be used as a small 4th bedroom, office or play area for the kids. We enjoyed the nice side yard a lot too! It's really comfortable, the owners were very responsive, and I would definitely stay there again. There are fans for every room which helped a lot during our warm week in BV, but there is only one AC split system in the main family room so the bedrooms got warm during the day and the house was hot when we checked in. Much nicer inside than expected. Extremely comfortable couches, dining room and beds. High quality linens and towels. The kitchen was great! I love to cook and was able to find every kitchen gadget I wanted plus lots of counter space. Moreover, the owners left paper towels, toilet paper, laundry detergent, dishwasher liquid, spices and whatever you need to feel settled (even though we brought all are own not expecting to walk into a “home” versus a bare bones rental). There is a very private fenced in backyard with chairs, hammocks and a fire pit. Communications with the owner were seamless and timely. We were a party of 6- including 3 generations and one dog. This place was perfect!!! Within 2 blocks of town so everyone could explore at their own pace- yet not too close to hear any noise. We were there during a 90 degree weekend- the combination of fans and a split Ac unit in the living room kept us all comfortable. Plenty of room for our bikes and paddleboards as well as 3 cars. Close to down town - walking distance to down town, 7 min to sunset barn! The owner was absolutely wonderful about answering questions! Plenty of dishes glasses silverware! The location to Main Street was perfect! The set up of the house was absolutely wonderful and accommodating, impeccably clean, nicely decorated and the furniture and beds were so comfortable! When we first booked, the house had no ac, but they recently installed a unit in the main part of the house, which without it would have been a bit warm during the day. The ac unit was just enough to keep the house comfortable during the hot July days. The linens and dishes were very nice. Plenty of parking. Nice backyard to hang out in.
