I'm told that the property on the south side was recently raised and now it is a gravel parking lot. Of course, we were there on the busiest weekend of the year (FIBArk), and although I can sleep through a bomb, my wife was non too pleased as there was a lot of partying going on there with a mix of campers and bar-hoppers. One last thing I may not have mentioned: the bedroom is on the south side of the house, about two feet away from the property line and another foot to a car bumper. Nonetheless, we got through it. The only other possible negative is that the layout of the house is funky, for sure. The house is obviously very old but they've done some recent updating and the kitchen is workable. It is a superb location if you want to be in town, as everything is within walking distance, and the back yard and inside are as dog-friendly as our house. The one off street parking spot was nice as well. Thhhhhat's all, folks. ##### Tony D. The location can't be beat if you want to stay close to downtown and take advantage of the walkability aspect. We had our two dogs with us and having the fenced backyard was fantastic. The house itself is very spacious with lots of sitting space and the kitchen was large with pretty much any supplies we needed. There is a trundle bed in the front room (not a bedroom, but more of an entrance area), although I do not think we would use that for an additional person or couple, personally. If you had a child or someone very low maintenance, it could be an option, though. For us, it was perfect for the two of us and two dogs and we will definitely plan to stay here again in the future. ##### Sera Kate S. Excellent communication with the host and a well-stocked place with all the comforts (love the fireplace). Very convenient to restaurants, shops and the river. Easy place to stay with dogs with fenced back-yard. Kitchen is well-stocked, furnishings are comfortable, and having a clothes washer and dryer was very helpful.
