Pet Friendly. Sleeps 10\. Trecane is a large 4 bedroom house with amazing sea views that sleeps up to 10 people. Situated directly opposite Widemouth Bay Beach, North Cornwall which offers attractions for all ages. This spacious self-catering holiday home has comfortable living spaces, a small fenced garden to front and rear, ample parking for up to 5 cars and is only a stone's throw from the beach. You can enjoy wonderful sunsets, beach activities and good food all in walking distance. Trecane is a great place to unwind and relax. There are pubs within walking distance and a café which serves excellent breakfasts and lunch, this is situated in the beach car park opposite the house. Bude is a short drive away, it's also a lovely walk. Excellent for surf lessons, bodyboarding, coasting, coastal walking and sunset watching. It is a good base to visit, Boscastle, Tintagel, Port Isaac, Padstow and Newquay. It is also a short drive to Cloverly. Trecane is suitable for all age groups. The location really couldn't be any better. You can be on the beach in less than a minute. So much easier than having to fill a car with beach items. On a rainy day, there was plenty of room for us all to relax in the comfort of the lounge and do a bit of storm watching. The house is equipped with everything that you need and Jackie was quick to respond to a minor issue. There are plenty of places to eat nearby and we also made use of the indoor pool in Bude and also the sea pool which was great for paddleboarding. The house is right opposite Widemouth Bay with fantastic views. The décor of Trecane is fabulous, simple, yet effective and the artwork is stunning, it felt very homely. Widemouth Bay is excellent for surfing and The Beach House is a short stroll where roast on the coast is a must! We had the most wonderful stay at Trecane Beach House. The position, right on the beach and to be able to sit in the window, watching the waves, is superb. My wife wanted to stay and move there. The house is beautiful, with everything we could want. So clean, comfortable and relaxing. Surfing was right outside the door, just a few metres away. The Raven Surf School is there and they were great at getting us started. There are great pubs and restaurants just a couple of minutes walk away, with great food at reasonable prices. Widemouth bay is also well positioned for day trips to Port Isaac (Doc Martin), Tintagel and Padstow. This is a superb place to stay at any time of year. We were out of season and loved every minute. Trecane is wonderful. We had the best Easter holiday we could have hoped for and Trecane was the perfect house for us. The children loved sleeping in the double bunk room and had an absolute blast learning to surf just across the road. The water was a little chilly so it was very handy that the house next door rented out all kinds of wetsuits, booties etc. The house is perfectly equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The costal walks are fantastic and a great day out walking the dog. A visit to Boscastle is a must. I didn't meet the owner Jackie but she was very responsive via email, all information provided when booking, and in the house, was self explanatory so we did not have to get in touch with her during our stay. We have just enjoyed two weeks at this fantastic house. All you could want and more in a holiday home and the owner is extremely friendly and helpful. Just cross the road and you are on the beach where some of our party enjoyed some body boarding and we all had so much fun in the rockpools particularly our 3 year old grandson. The house is ideally placed for visiting Boscastle, Tintagel, Clovelly and Eden Project to name a few. Five minutes drive and you are in Bude for the supermarkets and shops. Everything you could need on the doorstep virtually.
