The front reception staff were very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is located in an area where you can walk to many tourist sites, cafes, and shopping areas. 10/10. So, the room was not clean, the toilet had a paper seal that it was cleaned. I removed it and the bowl had poop, and urine drippings on the seat and hair. The shower has green something on the tile and glass doors. The towels were about 15 years old, and we're very stained. The sheets were very old and thinning out. The bed cover and decorative pillows were torn and also old. They could not hold the shape. I removed them off the bed. The walls had markings on it, all over. The refrigerator had old crumbs inside and it was dirty. The safe in the room was not secured to the wall or anyplace, you could pick it up and walk away with it. The bolt to the door was missing, a hole in the door. I debated leaving, however we had so much luggage and had already began to unpack. I'm sure if I would have notified the front desk they would have taken care of the issues but I didn't want to be the type of guest that complains. At the same time I could have given them the opportunity to clean the room. The hotel is nice, perfect location. I do recommend staying here, but do check your room before settling in.

The staff at the hotel couldn't do enough for you, each and eveyone was lovely. The room was lovely, but had a damp smell (which you only smell upon entering the room) We also had a leak in the bathroom ceiling which may have explained the smell (as it didn't look new) However, would not stop me staying at the hotel again or even putting a bad review in as other that that, I could not fault the hotel or it's staff. Breakfast was lovely, it was a bout a 20 minute walk from the city centre, but again, this didn't put me off the location, as it was a nice walk and the bus stops were near by too! I can reccommend Matula Bistro accross the road, a lovely little bistro and reasonably priced too! Would strongly reccommend this hotel to others and Budapest in itself.

Great location for train station. Easy walk to Parliament, Margaret Island and river. Also not too far from main areas of the city. We were there for the Christmas markets, which were interesting and enjoyable. The weekend was very busy. Our room was clean, beds were comfortable, the bathroom was a little dated but the hot shower was great. There was plenty of food for breakfast. Staff were helpful and friendly.

The hotel is old and needs a renovation and deep clean. Our room wasn’t cleaned for 2 days and we had to keep going down to reception to ask them to send someone to clean it. The lighting I’m the room was very poor. I will definitely not stay in this hotel again. It should be rated 2 starts maximum.

Staff are excellent. Room size is little under size for a couple, some room features are weird, for example: the chair under the desk can’t be moved out for seating, the water stopper for the sink can’t be use due to too close to the wall, but all these are minors. Overall this hotel is good. Recommend.

The hotel is in need of repairs and updating. Water leaks from ceiling A/C, shower had mold/mildew in the tile grout and around the outside perimeter. Towels are super thin, small and had holes in them. Fire alarm went off several times during our first night due to A/C issues. All but one staff member were friendly. They scheduled an early AM airport shuttle for us which did not show up. I called for my own taxi which was quick to arrive

The hotel has old rooms ,old mattresses , old towels, pillows, i needs. Renovation, the rooms. Were not clean, the towels and bedding sheets had stains on them , some of the rooms have street view those were ok, but the rest of tge rooms are not, if you book through any platform you can't cancel your booking. The air conditioning had a very loud noise. Unfortunately it was disappointing

The room was a good size and the bed was comfortable. All clean and in good condition. We would have liked more variety of breakfast rolls, particularly whole meal ones. And please, no washing of towels unless they are put on the floor - such a waste of resources.

Tha AC in the room was no working, it was cold in the room! The room not cleaned properly, everywhere dust and marks! Is any housekeeping supervisor checking the rooms? Or all the room attendants are self-checker?The breakfast is ordinary and the staff were rude!

Excellent Choice for Budapest
Great hotel for our trip to Budapest. The hotel is close to the Metro and tram service. It is also walking distance to the Parliament and Margaret Island. The hotel is well staffed and clean. We paid additional for the Balcony which was worth it and gave us some added space. Breakfast was large and varied each day. I would stay again

Serious Health Hazard - Do NOT recommend
I want to start by saying that the service at the hotel and everyone we spoke to was extremely friendly and helpful. Unfortunatly the Hotel has serious cleanliness issues and I think the maintenance and cleaning is NON-existent. While the bed was made and the sheets were changed, everything else in the room was filthy! From spider webs hanging from the ceiling, mold in the wardrobe to a diaguating bathroom - we had a horrible expwriwnce staying in the room with a baby. We could barely touch anything in the bathroom and we beleive the room was a serious health hazard not only for a baby but foe anyone staying. Definitely will not stay again and will demand a full refund! P.S. I could only upload 8 pics but the shocking dirt was everywhere

Good location
Hotel is in a good location, good transport links to anywhere you’d want to go. The hotel was overall quite clean, and the staff were friendly.

After booking my room the parking had to be arranged separately in email in which I received an answer that one of the days during my stay there is no available space so that turned out quite inconvenient to manage. For the rest, really nice place, good location relatively quiet during the night.

I would give this hotel two star review out of five stars. The two stars would be for the location and the staff. On the another hand, I have NEVER stayed in a hotel that had such a dirty room. Our bathroom was in a terrible shape, mirror was dirty, hand towel dryer had hairs on it, floor wasn’t clean. It was not acceptable. I would say something to the staff when we were checking out, but no one asked how was our stay… Also, they list that they have available car parking but our car wasn’t able to fit there. (Needless to say, we don’t drive a truck or a van) No one listed that parking is available only for cars up to a certain length. We needed to park in a garage of another hotel.

We have a limited number of parking places in our deep garage, therefore advance order is required. We notice the information about the size and weight limit on all portals where we are able to do this (including our website as well), however latest when the guest contact us regarding the parking place reservation. Unfortunately there are more online portals where we cannot notice anything, only choose the option for the parking and choose the rate for this. I do hope that despite of your recently experiences we will have the chance to welcome you to our hotel and we can prove our professionalism and show you the improvements following to your comments. The staff were friendly. Overall I think the hotel needs some refreshment (eg the hallway flooring needs repairs, the showerhead didn't stay up) however, it is a centrally located hotel and since most of the day is spent outdoors for the price it is value for money
