Perfectly good low cost hotel. Staff were helpful. Non smoking but overwhelming smell of smoke in en suite. A fridge but no kettle in the room (as I said low cost) Beware of booking adult and child room with breakfast; if the child is over 6 years the breakfast for them is not included! Ebooker problem not the hotel, they were good about it. Hotel is not lit up as in the picture so not easy to recognise in the dark, thank goodness for google maps. Although close to the river, quite a distance from the central area but not a problem if you can work out the trams.

Definitely a budget choice, but liveable.
This is hotel is okay if you’re on a budget, but it’s not in very good condition.

So, i booked this hotel as a surprise for my partner. We arrived to what looked like our hotel from the pictures. The lights were off, it was very dim. The guy behind the desk had an unironed creased shirt on, We checked in after him telling us that we wasn't on the booking list. we went to our room, to find the shower handing off and it being boiling! the room was filthy and falling apart. the shower basin has "urine" at the bottom. it was also not the room i booked. i went downstairs and explained what the room looked like. he then took us to another room and said we had been "upgraded" it was three single beds in a room.. again, not the room i booked. I went back down to tell him again, this was not the room i booked. I was finally shown the correct room, however the balcony access which i asked for was locked and you couldn't gain access due to there being an "accident" at the hotel. the rooms are unlocked by a manual key which you have to leave at the desk when leaving the hotel. This i found very odd. When we arrived back at the hotel after our time out and to get changed before the evening. The hotel bar that was advised, didn't exist. so we went out. When returning to the hotel, we gave our room number over to a different concierge, he just handed over the key, He didn't ask for ID or room card which has room number on. ANYBODY could have gained access to our room! This was totally embarrassing for me, as this was a surprise.

The front desk were really friendly and helpful. Sadly had a room with no towels and the breakfast you could pay extra for next door was a bit sadly lacking.

i liked that it had 24/7 front desk staff. i liked that the room was more spacious and comfortable than 2 other hotels i'd stayed at in my previous travels to Budapest. the room was warm and (mostly) clean, with a refrigerator and a balcony. Being winter, there were ants looking for a warm place to stay, so there were some ants that entered through a hole in the bathroom floor. The biggest complaint i had is that my room faced a courtyard where people smoke, and the 2nd hand smoke seeped into my room every time, even with the windows and balcony door shut closed. as a non smoker, it diminished my enjoyment and the quality of my stay overall.

Quality price ratio was good. Very close to city center and the Danube river and plenty of locals around the hotel. The staff also was friendly and helpful. Though, I did not like the toilet, it was quite shabby and the the buffet either, too poor. All in all I had a good stay.

Budget hotel in quiet area of Budapest. Metro stop is just 5 min away. The staff member on reception very polite. He was Young man with blond hairs. I recommend this hotel to everyone

Loved the room! Felt more like an apartment rather than a hotel so it added to the feel like a local experience! However shower curtain was moldy so it could do with a clean or a change! Would 10/10 recommend staying here!

It was fine overall.
Slowest receptions ever during the day, the night staff were good they knew what they were doing. Didn’t feel like the day receptionist was capable of simple tasks, couldn’t be relied on like the others. Made us late for previous engagements. Slowest elevator ever. Stairs were the better option. Rooms were spacious, but a bit dirty. Fridge was weirdly bolted closed in a cupboard. It was in a pretty good location, 10 minute walk to a whole strip of nice restaurants. And public transport all nearby.

The hotel was in the city center and close to the station. I love the lady and the gentleman at the reception. They took their time to help me go around the city. Love the customer service. The only downside is that you have to pay for breakfast. Other than that I enjoyed my stay

Budapest hotel
Great hotel, both of the staff that we dealt with were incredibly friendly and helpful. We dont speak Hungarian, but they sorted us out and were very accommodating. The hotel is in a good location for walking to Budapest centre. The room was comfortable, if a little worn in places, but I would definitely stay here again and I would recommend it.

Pros, good location and easy access to shops and transportation Cons, well all went wrong from start, paid for breakfast but first morning no breakfast available( was refunded for one day) then lift broke down, stayed for 5 days and room or bedding not cleaned/changed, no tea or coffee or soft drinks available anywhere in hotel, actually booked into another hotel for one night stay, when we did get breakfast it was not good, very very basic and coffee was undrinkable.

The view from the 6th floor was beautiful. The cleanliness was questionable. Their was no blow dryer as listed. Never saw anyone at the bar. The lobby and room pictures are very misleading. I missed not having something to make tea or coffee in the evening.

Breakfast service was not available due to a technical issue. Hairs in the bathroom. Shower head faulty. Room looking tired rusted taps and fittings, ice caked freezer blocks. No hot drink making facility or availability in communal area. Room door handle loose. Shower tray suffering from scuff and wear.

The staff did their best to try and help me with my room condition. The room was in a very poor state and condition and I was very disappointed on how this room was let to someone. The electrics were poor , the toilet was not fixed the floor and the bed sheets did not get changed the whole week I was their. The fridge was in a very poor state and the furniture needs to be changed. I do have photos to back all this up.
