The cozy living room, adorned with a charming fireplace, welcomes you to a serene escape. Sunlit interiors and expansive windows amplify the tranquility. The patio steals the spotlight, offering panoramic views of the ocean. Our home features two bedrooms – a downstairs one with a king-size bed and an upstairs one with a queen-size bed. The upstairs living room includes a pull-out couch for additional sleeping space. With two full bathrooms (one with a shower, the other with a tub) and a powder room, guests have ample facilities. The well-equipped, full-size kitchen caters to various culinary needs. Perfect for couples, families, or groups seeking a cozy retreat. Please note that the basement suite has a separate entrance and is off-limits. The covered patio is reserved for long-term tenants. Note to pet owners: Please note that this booking site is currently not configured to collect multiple pet fees. We charge a flat rate of $50 per pet. This fee covers additional cleaning expenses to maintain a fresh and welcoming environment for all guests. The yard was full of dog poop. We cleaned it up. The grass in the side yard was more than a foot high. We mowed it. The makeshift gate for the walkway was falling off the hinges because of screws missing. We found screws and fixed it. One of the TVs was not working. The dishwasher was full of dirty dishes. Both screen doors had torn screens. We duct taped the main door, but didn't use the patio door. The biggest issue was the fact that we notified the host but he couldn't be bothered to respond. Our stay in Buckley Bay provided beautiful views of the bay, with frequent visits from the seals and otters. The location, while a little ways outside of the main centres, was only a short drive to get to a cafe, nature walks, and restaurants. The house feels very spacious with large bedrooms and ample sitting space to cozy up with a cup of tea or good book. ##### Leah T.
