« On the surface the place looked lovely when we arrived. The floors and kitchen area were clean. However we then noticed all the makeup stains on the chair cushions. There was also no mirror in the bathroom. We then discovered after we had put our food in the oven, that there was no oven gloves or t-towel! We did connect the owner and got a reply straight away, but nothing ever arrived. We were there for two days! There was no fitted sheet to put over the sofa bed, and lots of crumbs on there...

"My stay in Moxy Chester was ok. I was unfortunately located on 1st floor right above the gym. The gym often puts reaallly loud music from 8am (sometimes as early as 6:30am) and I could hear the music beats resonating in my room as a background noise. It was at times very annoying when I was still trying to sleep. I would definitely request another room if I come back here.The other thing that I don't understand wih Moxy is that it tends to be a corporate hotel but they don't have proper chairs in the rooms. I don't understand the strategy of the hotel in that regards. If you have to work on your computer, it's very uncomfortable to sit on this stool for hours. In general, hotels suck at having "a normal table with a normal chair at the normal height", which I never understood. Other than that, I had a good time in Chester. The rest of the room was great. The staff was friendly."
