We got there about 5pm, had to go the the bar to ask someone to check us in. Took another 10 minutes for a member of staff to come to reception.
Room was generally fine. Tea spoons were dirty, clearly not changed from the previous guest as they still has coffee grains stuck to them. The room was pretty cold. We put the heater on and had to stuff the curtains behind the heater otherwise the heat would get stuck behind the curtains.
Double bed was comfy, a little firm but not too much. The single beds were way too soft. They just caved in, so much so when my 5 year old was sleeping near the edge of the bed, he slipped right off.
Security doesn't seem to concern the staff. Multiple times when going out to vape, the reception computer was left on, unlocked with peoples personal information on view.
We ate in the bar area on the 2nd night. We wanted to sit in one of the stall spaces which were all dirty. After asking a member of staff if they could clear it, he said that we could sit somewhere else. After asking again the table was cleared.
Ordering on the app was fine. The food arrived quite quickly. The chicked breasts were the smallest ones i have ever seen. Only one slice of bacon too which felt stingy given the description and price.
For desert, i ordered at the bar as i wanted to ask for custard instead of Icecream. Only 1 bar member serving with 7 people ahead of me meant the wait was long. Nobody cleared the dinner plates before brining out the desert.
