« We were fortunate to be the only ones staying so we didn't have any issues with the shared bathroom situation. It was pleasantly warm which was surprising because the house is so big. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast piece is definitely not really a thing anymore and it seems like the place is for sale but it's a lovely area and the grounds are gorgeous. We had a fantastic stay after apple picking. »

« Great location for our visit to Longwood University. Hotel is older but with the updates, it seems they tried to stay true to character of the building and simplicity of needs. All staff that we encountered were very nice/polite and helpful. Room was spacious,comfortable,simple and clean all that you need. As some other reviews state they could hear the noise from the club/bar behind the hotel, that is true, but it was not too bad for us, we were top floor and furthest away from it, just...

« Bel hôtel, belle chambre lit confortable,, petit frigo pratique. Endroit très calme à 5 min en voiture de la belle Historic Main street. 10 min à aller a la High Bridge Trail mais 20 min au retour en vélo car il y a une très grosse côte à monter!! On est au centre de la Trail on a fait la moitié aller/retour une journée et l’autre moitié le lendemain. »

« Nous avons été bien accueilli dans ce motel super 8\. Plutôt bas de gamme et l'extérieur est pas terrible mais les chambres sont propres et confortables. Beaucoup d'ouvriers lorsque nous sommes passés. Pas de bruit la nuit mais départ des ouvriers le matin. Le petit déjeuner était basique et il ne restait plus grand chose à manger. Bien situé pour visiter les sites de la guerre civile et motel pas cher. »

Bed was super confortable, local and very nice toiletries available in the room and hostess so welcoming and available. Then you go to breakfast in the morning and you definitely say that you will be back! It was gorgeous, made with fresh products and so well prepared. We also dine one night there and diner was as good and well prepared...
