Communication with the property owner was great as well. My only concern was that some of the surrounding areas were a bit run down and we noticed some shady people nearby. This being said, we did not have any trouble with our stay and our vehicle was safe parked outside. Overall Saint Joseph has some interesting history and was clearly a beautiful city in its glory days. I would definitely recommend this VRBO for a couple or family with older children. It is a historic gem.
