It was less than a 10 min drive into downtown Bryson City where all of the shops and restaurants are and about a 10-15 min to Cherokee. It was the perfect spot for a chill, relaxing weekend. Everything felt new. Comfortable beds and high end appliances. Good tvs. Wierd layout, but being old friends, we did not mind walking through each other' rooms to get to the kitchen or to our own bedroom. All bathrooms are up two steps. I understand the reason, adding plumbing over a concrete space, but this feature should be clear in the description in case any of the guests would find that difficult.
