Comfortable beds and high end appliances. Good tvs. Wierd layout, but being old friends, we did not mind walking through each other' rooms to get to the kitchen or to our own bedroom. All bathrooms are up two steps. I understand the reason, adding plumbing over a concrete space, but this feature should be clear in the description in case any of the guests would find that difficult. It was walking distance to everything so we didn’t need to drive anywhere besides the grocery store and it was less than a 5 min drive. We did drive up to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park to do rafting and that was about a 10 min drive at most. This rental is pet friendly and almost every store and restaurant in Bryson City is pet friendly as well so you can take your dog walking around town with you and most of the stores have water bowls for the dogs. This is definitely the place you want to be if you love to take you dog along for the trip. There is also "Island Park" that you can walk to that has r. You can sit on the front porch and enjoy the view on the train with the mountains behind it.
