I had fun fishing off the back deck. The park was clean and no one bothered us. I met the host and he’s a pure gentleman. Very polite and friendly just a good down to earth person. The cabin appeared as if it hadn't been occupied for a while. But overall, the cabin met all our needs and stayed cool. It is right on the river and we saw fish right of the deck. The cabins are close together but it wasn’t bothersome. It was just a few minutes to the train station and restaurants. The outside, the deck could some TLC. A good power wash would do the trick. We brought a small fan for the bedroom because it just had a single window unit in the living area. It worked fine and cooled the living room and our little fan helped with the bedroom. Was tolerable. Our host was very attentive and friendly. Was definitely worth it. ##### mary b. The VRBO was supposed to refund us a day for inconvenience and she has never given me a dime back and won't respond to my emails. If this is how Bryson City operates, I will never go there again and I am telling everyone on my social media about it.
