Inside, you'll find a cozy yet spacious interior featuring a real wood-burning fireplace, full kitchen, washer/dryer, and WiFi. The sleeping arrangements include a king bedroom on the main floor, and two upstairs bedrooms—each with a queen bed and a full futon—providing comfort and flexibility for larger groups. Outside, soak in the private hot tub while overlooking the bluff, fire up the charcoal grill, gather around the fire pit, or relax in the peaceful outdoor seating area and take in the views. Fish Tales is located in a quiet, gated community of nine privately owned cabins just 25 miles from downtown Chattanooga. Nestled near the tri-state corner of Tennessee, Georgia, and Alabama, it's a scenic and convenient base for hiking, sightseeing, and exploring small-town charm. No pets | No smoking indoors We provide regular pest control at our properties; however, because some of our homes are located in rural settings, guests may still encounter insects or small wildlife from time to time. Guests with electric vehicles can take advantage of a Rivian EV charger located in the central parking area by the gazebo at The Summit. We loved waking up early to watch the sunrise, some days from the deck and other days from the hot tub. The sunsets were also spectacular. It was a blessing to be positioned in such a way to see both the sun rising and setting clearly. All the views between were sweet too. When we had questions related to our stay, responses were quick and helpful. We also enjoyed the swimming pool area. There was plenty to do. The location of the cabin was near some beautiful experiences: hiking, kayaking, chasing waterfalls, playing pickleball. When it got dark, we enjoyed curling up together to watch movies and play board games. The kitchen area worked well for preparing meals at our home away from home too. Of the 4 of us, 2 of us had stayed at Grant Summit previously (Eagle’s Nest) and had a great experience, so we came back… and brought 2 more! Once Again, the cabin was immaculate, cozy, serene, and even luxurious in some ways (hot tub, fireplace, view). It was incredible to just sit on the balcony- overlooking the mountains and Nickajack Dam- sip a refreshing beverage and read. The view from upstairs was even better! And the hot tub was the icing on the cake, especially because it was private and also offered a panoramic mountain/dam view as well! It is obvious the owners and staff at Grant Summit are empathetic and compassionate in providing just the right decor, furnishings, and amenities to make guests feel comfortable, valued, and even loved.
