I loved this propery and the whole concept of decor in the rooms. Bed was wonderful. Unfortunately, as soon as i went to bed i started itching violently. Im now covered from top to bottom in bedbug bites and so is my friend.

there is no way in hell that this place is #10 of hotels in Brussels. It’s a dive. Avoid at all costs. We happened to stay in the China room during the hottest two days in Brussels history. We showed up late to no AC turned on in the room. The room has been reconfigured such that the upper loft blocks all cold airflow from the AC to the lower floor of the room. As such, it took 3 hours for the room to be habitable after they turned on the AC at the desk. Yes, you cannot control your AC. The front desk does. So, next day, before embarking for our adventures for the day, we double and triple reminder the girl at the front desk to NOT TURN OFF THE AC While we were out. We returned later that day on a 105 degree day to what? Not only was the AC off, but all the shades were open in the rooftop windows. Our room was probably 125 degrees. Unbearable. This doesn’t even begin to explain it. What did the front desk have to say? They tried to suggest it was my fault and that the AC automatically shuts off if the windows were open. They were NOT. Not only were they not, we left the shades closed. The room and hotel itself are more appropriately rented. hourly. The shower sprays all over. Tiles become dangerously slick. Toilet paper dispenser broken. Fixtures coming out of the walls. Exposed hot wires in the ceiling. STAY AWAY. NO MATTER WHAT THE RESPONSE TO MY CRITIQUE MAY BE. STAY AWAY.

This is such a unique Hotel. The staff are extremely nice. The location is perfect, as it is walking distance to the grand place, yet in a slightly quieter location. There are also tons of restaurants nearby.
