I contacted host who admitted she had made the mistake while booking. The only thing they offered was to refund my money for one night and give us an early check in the next day at 12 pm, the exact same time my daughter was getting married. Oh and I forgot to mention we were traveling with a dog. When I mentioned I would take legal action the husband threatened to cancel our entire stay. Simply put, he had me. I had to play nice in order to have a place to stay for the wedding. VRBO offered nothing other than to tell me about one hotel that was dog friendly. Never again. ##### Amy V. We were at the property with our 2 children in their early 20's and their significant others. We were very comfortable and everyone commented on the comfortable beds. We were lucky in that we could use the third bedroom to hang and dry towels. Dishwasher , washing machine and tumble dryer all worked well as did the air conditioning when required. The provision of wine glasses would be a simple improvement. We enjoyed our stay but are unlikely to return to Maine or indeed the USA. Anno domini. ##### Peter A. For example, he turned on the air conditioning right before our arrival so it would be comfortable. The home is located in a lovely, quiet neighborhood with a pretty park nearby, making it amenable to walks. It’s within easy driving distance of local shops, restaurants and sights. The beds were quite comfortable and it had all the features we needed to make our stay pleasant, including laundry and kitchen tools and appliances. One suggestion to consider would be to stock some starter coffee, tea and laundry soap for guests. Great for families! ##### Rebecca N.
