Refreshing open floor plan! Nestled at the end of the drive with parking for 5 cars (max). Rocking chair front porch leads to light and airy kitchen (anchored with a huge blue island), dining area and vaulted great room. Shiplap walls throughout the main living area, 8' doors, owner's suite and additional bedroom on main, hardwood floors throughout. Convenient laundry room w/cabinetry and sink. Kitchen w/farm-style sink, stainless appliances, an abundance of cabinetry and lots of counter space. Kitchen is fully stocked and ready for you! Pantry barn-style door leads to walk-in pantry with plenty of shelving. Dining table offers seating for 10, Island offers seating for 6\. Oversized screened porch with patio furniture and a TV leads to a large covered porch with grill and additional seating area - All overlooking the lagoon-style pool and hot tub. Fenced backyard fully equipped with lounge chairs, umbrellas and tables & chairs. Firepit for gathering on those cool evening nights (bring your own wood). The house is on a whole-house water filtration system. Note: the interior fireplace is for looks-only. It does not function. \*\*Minimum age of renter is 35 years old, ID required at time of reservation.\*\* \*\*Property Damage Deposit is $1500.00\*\* Bedrooms: Owner's Suite and an additional bedroom on the main. The owners suite has a vaulted ceiling with ceiling fan and double French doors leading to covered back porch. Private bath offers double vanities with lighted vanity mirror, oversized shower w/dual shower heads, separate water closet, and large walk-in closet. Additional bedroom on main has access to half bath but will have to either use owner's suite shower or upstairs shower. Upstairs offers 4 spacious bedrooms, 3 with attached full bathrooms, one king bedroom is across the hall from the bathroom. All upstairs bedrooms have TVs with cable, ceiling fans, canned lights and hardwood floors. Outdoor entertainment: The lagoon-style pool with hot tub is 16' x 32' and has 4 pool-width sized stairs- perfect if you just want to sit and watch everyone play. The pool can be heated for an additional $200 per day however we would need advanced notice at time of final payment so we can plan for it. The fire pit is great for relaxing in the evening (bring your own firewood) and is accented with outdoor lighting. A large TV is mounted on the screened porch for easy viewing. We have a homemade game board barrel table for checkers. We also have books, cards and puzzles. Location: We're conveniently located at the corner of Arnold and Demere (pronounced De-ma-ree). We are less than 1/2 a mile to the beach (Massengale Park which is an access point to East Beach, has bathrooms, shaded picnic tables and play ground) and 1 mile to The Village (quaint square with shopping, dining and the pier). Demere park is across the street with a playground, skate park and baseball field - great for play. Fiddlers, Crab Daddy's, Crab Trap, The Still, Beachcomber BBQ & Grill, Barrier Island Brewery and bicycle rentals are located at the next corner on Arnold and Ocean Blvd. King and Prince is at the end of Arnold (just one block further). "The Friendly" gas station is just down the street from us and is great for those last minute items you forgot (butter, milk, firewood and the like). Golf cart rentals are available in The Village and make the stay even more enjoyable. We built this home with our family in mind. We hope you enjoy your stay and make it an annual tradition to come again. We entrust our home to you and ask that you take great care of it. It was spacious enough for all 6 adults and 6 children, and everything was clean and well-maintained. The owners were very responsive and provided clear directions on everything, which made settling in a breeze. The location is great - easy access to beaches, restaurants, and ice cream spots! Loved the covered pirch and screened in porch. The kids spent alot of time on the screened in porch, it was really comfortable with the fan. Only downside to it is the full 10 minute walk to the beach with no sidewalks. Would stay there again. ##### lee ann m. Owners thought of everything that can help make our stay wonderful and easy. Everything was very clean and in great condition. Loved the pool!! We had 15 adults and a 1 year old. We thoroughly enjoyed staying here with our family of 14 ranging from 15 months to 62 yr old!! Most of the bedrooms have their own private bathrooms with comfy mattresses and bedding. The pool and hot tub was especially a hit for all of us and the outdoor shower a plus. This home is really lovely!! Our nephew got engaged and we had many to feed at the celebration dinner. Kitchen was very well stocked with plenty of place settings and beautiful serving dishes. The home was immaculate, with top-notch cleanliness and wonderfully soft, high-quality linens. The amenities were exactly as described—and then some. The highlight was the beautiful pool, which quickly became our favorite gathering spot. Communication with the owners was smooth and responsive from start to finish.
