Just bring your personal items and feel like home. We stayed over the Christmas holidays and Jeckell Island goes all out and was such a great time. You could ask for a better area to be in. Jeykll Island was less crowded and quieter than St. Simons. Very relaxing and stress-free environment. Provided cozy shelter for family of 6 as we took advantage after amenities on /near Jekyll Island. Large table and adequate supply of chairs was sufficient for all of us to eat as a family. (Often not possible in many vrbo units) Was surprised to find that washer/dryer access required going outside and re-entering building via different door off rear patio so using laundry in evening was little cumbersome. The house looked clean on the surface but once you’re settled in you begin to see that it’s not clean at all. The carpet looks like it’s been there since the 1980’s and hasn’t been cleaned. I wouldn’t go barefoot 🙃. The floor mat going to the patio from kitchen needs to be thrown away. The showers don’t work right. All in all, sorry to say I can’t recommend. Needs TLC urgently.
