  • The Basilica of the Holy Blood is a Roman Catholic minor basilica in Bruges, Belgium. Originally built in the 12th century as the chapel of the residence of the Count of Flanders, the church houses a venerated relic of the Holy Blood allegedly collected by Joseph of Arimathea and brought from the Holy Land by Thierry of Alsace, Count of Flanders. Built between 1134 and 1157, it was promoted to minor basilica in 1923. The 12th-century basilica is located in the Burg square and consists of a lower and upper chapel. The lower chapel dedicated to St. Basil the Great is a dark Romanesque structure that remains virtually unchanged. The venerated relic is in the upper chapel, which was rebuilt in the Gothic style during the 16th century and renovated multiple times during the 19th century in Gothic Revival style. Bruges is the capital and largest city of the province of West Flanders in the Flemish Region of Belgium, in the northwest of the country. The historic city centre is a prominent World Heritage Site of UNESCO. Along with a few other canal-based northern cities, such as Amsterdam, it is sometimes referred to as The Venice of the North. Bruges has a significant economic importance thanks to its port and was once one of the world's chief commercial cities. The hotel has the best location in town, right by the canal. It’s easy to access all the main attractions. Our room was clean. The breakfast was delicious and staffs were super friendly.

Everyone should be so lucky so stay in this beautiful guest house. Lyne went above & beyond to great us on arrival. The superior breakfast food & service was exceptional. Beautiful canal view. We would definitely return! 5 stars should be 10 stars

I can't imagine a better place to stay if you're in Bruges. Lynne is an exceptional host that thinks of every detail and is so kind. The breakfast that was included was so fresh and of great quality with fresh fruits, eggs, cheeses, breads, juice, and jam. Our room was very comfortable with a beautiful bathroom and the rooftop and lounge were very nice intimate spaces to relax. The location is very convenient, yet tucked away and still quiet. I only wish we could have stayed longer.

国内外含めて生まれてきて1番のホスピタリティでした。 信じられないくらい気を配るホストです。 良かった点 ・歴史的な建造物（撮影スポットに泊まれる！） ・ビュッフェじゃない（ホストが「シャンパン飲む？卵はどう調理する？コーヒーいる？パンのおかわりは？あれは？これは？笑」、スクランブルエッグお勧めです） ・チェックイン時手続きさえせずに地図を開いておすすめスポットを教えてくれる（パスポート出してもいません） ・チェックアウトの日、今日はあなたの部屋空いてるから都合の良いタイミングまでいてくれて構わない、鍵は部屋に置いてからでて行ってねーって。信じられません。 悪い点 ・綺麗にしてますが古い建物です。最新のサービスはありません（別に悪い点ではなく心構えとしてそんなもんだと当たり前に思っていただきたい） ・一軒家の一室なので音は聞こえやすいです ・水圧は強くはありません ・排水がかなりイマイチ（これだけはマイナスです） 総合的にみてまた行きたいと思うとても素敵な場所でした！

Eine wunderbare Unterkunft - traumhaft schön. Jedes Detail ist mit Liebe ausgewählt. Die Lage ist zentral und trotzdem ruhig. Das Frühstück wird serviert und ist kein Buffet, was wir sehr positiv fanden. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder und können es nur empfehlen.

Un incanto!

E' stata un'esperienza favolosa! Un luogo magico in un paesino da favola! Romantica suite con mini-bar a disposizione, bagno con vasca idromassaggio Jacuzzi e doccia in locale a parte, prodotti di altissima qualità. Un'accoglienza e un'attenzione da parte della proprietaria mai ricevuta prima; molto gentile, disponibile e attenta ad ogni minimo particolare. Colazione eccellente a cominciare dal flute di champagne e dal piattino di frutta fresca in cui non mancava nulla, per poi passare ad una selezione accurata di prodotti dolci e salati per accontentare ogni palato. La sala delle colazioni è stupenda e si affaccia sul canale dove passano le barche con i turisti che fotografano in continuazione la dimora in quanto è una delle più caratteristiche di Brugge. Nella sala colazioni caffè, thè, cappuccino e latte macchiato sono sempre a disposizione e il caminetto acceso e la musica di sottofondo completano l'atmosfera assolutamente magica! Ad oggi penso sia il posto più bello in cui siamo stati!

We loved our stay here! The hospitality was amazing, and the accommodations were absolutely beautiful. We stayed in one of the suites and it had a jacuzzi, which was so relaxing. It is super central and the views are fantastic, not to mention the delicious breakfast prepared by the hosts of fresh fruit and eggs each morning. We would highly recommend this to anyone visiting Bruges, and also recommend you book very early especially if you’re coming at a high tourist season.

Perfect! Better than our 5-star hotel!

We thought this would be our only trip to Brugge, but this B&B was so great we want to make a special trip any time we are in Europe! We had stayed in a 5-star hotel the night before, and prepared ourselves that this wouldn't be as good -- we were so wrong, this was way better! Great blend of modern conveniences (like motion-sensing lighting) in a historic setting, beautiful rooms and every convenience you would want - so don't worry that it will be less comfortable than a more modern place, and the owner is so sweet and attentive if there is anything at all that you need. I had completely missed when I booked that instead of the usual fruit and bread assortment elsewhere, the owner does a multi-course champagne breakfast complete with made to order omelettes! The location is amazing - right in the heart of everything (you can watch tourists going by and photographing the building), two minutes walk to myriad great restaurants, but the B&B itself is quiet and designed to be a respite from all the busy hustle bustle of Brugge. We only wished we had more time to spend on the roof deck garden -- we will just have to make the sacrifice to go back again! It really was the perfect end to our two weeks in Europe - we could see the city, but get away from the tourists and just rest and recharge before heading home, which was just what we needed since we had our six-month old with us!!

Awesome place

We spent a city-break week-end at Bonifacius. Really great experience overall. Location is perfect, close to the main sites and the train station. Breakfast was amazing, more than we could wish for. Great services, we will definitely come back.

Romantisches Hotel in allerbester Lage

Mit einem Wort nicht zu beschreiben. Das Haus ist sehr sorgsam und detailverliebt eingerichtet. Wir waren begeistert von der Authentizität der Räume und dem Komfort. My wife and I stayed for two nights in January. The guesthouse offers an authentic and luxurious stay, perfectly situated in the heart of Bruges. Wonderful hospitality from start to finish. One of the best breakfast spreads we've experienced. Would highly recommend. Thank you again

入り口がわかりにくい！立地は、た異変良いが、その分日中は観光客が周りにいっぱい。ボートツアーのポイントの一つ。ルーフテラスからの眺めは、最高‼️夜間は、外の音はしないが、内部の音がする。さん部屋しかないですが。朝食は、素敵です。夜間は、ホテルの人はいないようです。3時過ぎに行きましたが、未だリビングの掃除ができていなかったり、使用済みシーツが玄関先に置いていたり、ちょっとガッカリでした。マダムは、親切に地図でガイドしてくれたり、食事場所を教えてくれます。

Fuimos a celebrar nuestro 20° aniversario de boda y pensamos hacerlo en un lugar que recordaramos. De ahi salió bonifacius en el mismo centro histórico de Brujas, pero con la tranquilidad del hogar. Trato exquisito y educado. Desayuno perfecto para empezar el dia. Espaciosa habitación con salón y bañera hidromasaje. Recibes cada euro que pagas.

A charmer

A stunning city and Bonifacius is a tourist attraction because of the position right on the canal. It is a 15th century charmer beautifully restored and decorated. Lyne is a lovely lady and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was delicious. A must stay in Bruges.
