He responded within minutes to any request or need. The unit itself is small but comfortable. It is a little dated but clean and well stocked. We slept well in the king size bed. The host provided an initial amounts of coffee, filters, paper towels, napkins, and had soap for the washer available. We loved having the washer and dryer in the unit. Be advised, it doesn't have a dishwasher, but with just two of us that was ok. It is conveniently located close to many restaurants and grocery stores. It's easy to get to the South Padre and Boca Chica beaches as well as many sights in the RGV area. ##### Ken S. It was exactly what we needed. It’s Located in the middle of Brownsville so it’s easy to hop on the highway and get anywhere. You can’t really walk to anywhere nearby, but everything is a quick car ride. This is an older property, but well maintained and clean. The upstairs has the 2 bedrooms and the bathroom and shower. The downstairs has the kitchen, washer dryer, dining room and a place to watch TV.. along with a small bathroom with a sink and toilet. Right across from the front door is the pool. It looked nice but we did not stay in the property much due to funeral activities. Maybe next time we will try the pool. For the price, it’s great. We would definitely stay here again if it’s available in the future. Especially since the owners were so nice and accommodating. I traveled with my 2 small kids and the place Easily fit my family. The room my kids slept in has a full and twin size bed and it was perfect. We loved there were not A ton of breakable decorations everywhere! :) Steve was so friendly and very very accommodating to my family and our needs during this very difficult time for our family.
