I have always loved staying at this property but unfortunately my vehicle was broken into this time. The hotel cameras failed us since they don't cut their tree limbs leaving it a blind spot. I think it was a inside job since they ask for the make and model of your vehicle upon arrival and staff was unhelpful with police with video footage.. I unfortunately had to extend my stay else where and spend more money on getting my truck fixed.

Comfortable stay
The best stay at Brownsville yet. We come to visit family in town and this hotel has been the coziest stay as of yet. I wish the room's floor was as shiny as the lobby's but other than that I highly recommend.

The property lives up to the great rating for cleanliness which is priority number one for me. But they also have the best breakfast I have had for free. I stayed for a week and every morning there where different breakfast options to choose from. They also have a happy hour days which is very nice. The Staff was super friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend and would stay again when I visit Brownsville.

Overall its not a horrible hotel, but i would not pay for the suite again. Theres barely any light in the room and the decor is very bland and dull.

Lots of hairs left on the shower wall and throughout the restroom. Barking dog next door woke us up, and door did not lock properly. Otherwise, perfect. Love the recent remodeling and breakfast was great.

Hotel was always very clean, employees were very friendly, only disliked the cigarette smell and the COFFEE! Coffee was awful. Never seen other hotels with a happy hour.

Room didn’t smell fresh, we asked for towels and atleast rr to be cleaned and it wasn’t. The room was not in good condition as it previously was. Francisco was really nice upon booking.

My first experience was with a very curt front desk person. My next experience was finding the liner of the ice bucket was dripping wet, so dripping wet and so untouched for so long that the entire liner was covered in mold. If you spend anytime in the room at all you start to understand why everything is moldy, the air conditioner itself was spewing out the most humid air possible and you can directly smell the mold spores coming out of it. It's a coastal town, there is going to be some humidity, I get that, but an air conditioned hotel room should never be more humid than being outside. And for mold? There is no excuse! DO NOT STAY HERE!

Would have been nice to at least have the sheets changed after the first day. We understand the climate change issue on the towels. Also, a lot of thumping noise from the people on top of our room. Never stopped after day 1. The breakfast omelettes were cold too. It is what it is.

The staff was very helpful and outgoing. The rooms were clean and comfortable and amenities were nice. The pool seemed a little off but was nice. Breakfast was convienient and fresh each day with a small variety for continental. Great stay!
