Nice hotel with friendly staff. When I was checking in, another couple was trying to find a room (no rooms available at the Double Tree). The front desk person was making many calls to neighboring hotels to help them find a room - over and above his responsibilities and impressive!
After having spent 6 nights in a rented RV camping in Northern Minnesota, the Embassy Suites Minneapolis - North was the perfect way to end our vacation.
The Mgr's reception was great, and the 6300 Steakhouse was delicious,
We recommend this property -

Pleasant rooms and staff. Easy access to freeways in multiple directions. Mini-kitchen allows flexibility for breakfast, snacks, special diets. Individual temperature control. Generally quiet and polite guests.
Slow to make maintenance repairs -- stayed a week with a running toilet and reported it the first day with no repair before I left. Annoying but not a problem really. Don't know if this is typical.
Hard to communicate with personnel in English. Still trying to get our money back off of our credit card.
We held the rooms with one credit card (they immediately charged both rooms in separate bills to this
card) thinking we wouldn't be charged till the end of our stay. When we left we paid with a separate credit card (one bill) assuming(dumb) they could figure it out. Now trying to sort this mess out seems like our credit card company is the only party we can work with no one else cares!!
Check in was great no hassle, needed a room change no problem, room was clean, hardwood floors a nice touch, no noise from guest, overall experience was good, I would definitely come back here, had a wonderful weekend......
