Pleasant rooms and staff. Easy access to freeways in multiple directions. Mini-kitchen allows flexibility for breakfast, snacks, special diets. Individual temperature control. Generally quiet and polite guests.
Slow to make maintenance repairs -- stayed a week with a running toilet and reported it the first day with no repair before I left. Annoying but not a problem really. Don't know if this is typical.
Everything was great. Loved every part of our stay. We really enjoyed the staff, the breakfast, the workout room, the pool, and the hot tub. The location was great and close to everything we needed where we did not have to venture out far.
The room was what we expected: a comfortable place to sleep. The hallway and elevator were in need of a deep cleaning and remodeling. The breakfast was ok, but the only fruit was green apples, when there was fruit at all. Two of the three nights there were people shouting and causing a commotion in the parking lot.
The staff was great. The room was exceptional. I really did not expect the room to be so clean or, the carpet to be without any stain so, that was a really nice surprise.
Really nice room good value for the money.
We were visiting our student at the U of M with two teenagers, so booked a 2 br apartment - which was lovely and very comfortable. I was hoping to be able to cook meals for us at this apartment, but it only has a VERY limited kitchen. None the less, it was a very nice stay, and a nice location, about 20 minute drive from the city and University. Breakfast and parking are provided free of charge. Breakfast is excellent, though finishes at 9.30 on week days, which is a bit early when you have teenagers, and on holiday. The cleaners were also quite early, so probably more geared around business visitors rather than holiday makers. We ate at the restaurant a few nights and found the food good quality and not too expensive.
