The cabin features a warm, open-concept living space with rustic wood accents, a fully equipped kitchen, and a cozy fireplace for chilly evenings.
Each bedroom is thoughtfully furnished for comfort, with the master suite offering a private en-suite bathroom and the second bedroom offering a ensuite bathroom that also connects to the living area.
Step outside to unwind in the private hot tub under the stars or gather around the fire pit for s’mores and storytelling. Kids will love the dedicated playground area, giving parents a chance to relax while also being able to keep an eye on them from the back porch.

The Firepit is Temperature Controlled which Means it will Turn On and Off on its Own as it Reaches its Max Temp.
-Smoking-
No smoking of any kind inside the cabin. You are more than welcome to smoke at the fire pit or back deck. There are ashtrays provided on the back deck. Please make sure all doors and windows are closed.
-Hot Tub-
No standing, sitting, or jumping on hot tub cover
Keep hot tub covered when not in use
Do not add anything to the hot tub
-Pets-
Maximum of 2 dogs
Max weight of 90lb per dog
No other pets accepted
Pets are not allowed on beds, couches, or any furniture
Pets are not allowed in hot tub
Any damage incurred by pet is guest responsibility
Undisclosed pets will result in $200 fee per pet
Guest is responsible for any extra cleaning fee
Large metal dog crate available upon request. Request must be 24 hours in advance of check in date to guarantee crate is available for your stay.

Great little cabin for a family! Kids really enjoyed the playground and hammock, I thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub, and my husband appreciated that the grill was clean and ready for use.

Exactly as advertised and then some kid friendly extras we hadn’t known about (books, plates,cups,pack n play ) we brought our own but it was nice to see so many little touches that would have made a huge difference has we forgotten something! Very kind and pleasant owners. We will be back!

Wonderful cabin tucked away in a quiet "neighborhood"

This is such a beautiful property and a wonderful host. My husband and our two children enjoyed our stay very much. It is close to all of the things, yet far enough away to be extremely peaceful. The host was phenomenal and very responsive throughout the entire process. We will be staying again in the future.

Corporate Retreat

We own a small business in Fort Worth. We wanted to get into the woods and unplug to do some business dreaming and planning. Our stay was great. We did yoga on the porch, soaked in the hot tub, and saw a million fireflies. And somehow got all our planning done as well!

Amazing trip

From the moment we turned off of the main Highway onto the road that leads to the cabin, the feel of the cabin trip was just what we wanted! Cabins are far enough from each other in the area to have privacy but close enough where you do not feel out in the middle of nowhere. The cabin was so clean and just as cozy as it appeared to be in the pictures. 10/10 recommend.

My husband and I came out for our two month Anniversary. The house was clean and well stocked. Bethany was very easy to contact about the property. We came during the freeze but the house was still fantastic. Our pup definitely enjoyed the yard and looking out the window at wildlife. We can’t wait to come back.

The advertised listing of this property as “accessible “ was disappointing. The bathrooms were quite small and not w/c friendly. It was a single story cabin on a quiet street but as far as amenities there was very little to talk about.

Friends-cation 2023 at the Sassy Sasquatch!

Our stay was absolutely perfect! The cabin was a perfect size for my husband, me, our 5 year old, our best friends & their 1 year old. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we need to cook with. Loved all the games they had in there! We played a lot with the corn hole set & relaxed in the hot tub. They had multiple deer in the backyard almost every night while we sat by the campfire! We look forward to booking this same cabin again in the Fall!

Perfect family getaway

We enjoyed everything about this place and location. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. We really enjoyed the hot tub and watching the fireflies in the evenings. One evening we even had a deer walk through the back yard. The location is close to lots of different family activities and the park which was also beautiful. Bethany was very helpful and quick to respond. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation.

Great stay for a weekend getaway

This little cabin was great. Perfect size for two couples. There would have still been plenty of room for our kiddos as well. It was very clean and well maintained. We loved the back porch. The bath towels are amazing (will need to order some for my house!)!!! The owner was very easy to contact and quickly responded to our needs.

Fantastic Time at the Sassy Sasquatch!

The cabin was perfect for our weekend getaway with friends! Bethany was super accommodating and allowed us to check in early due bad weather on our travel. The cabin had all the amenities we needed and when we did run out of a food or drinks we were a short drive from the grocery store. Would recommend this cabin and these hosts 10/10 :)

The cabin is gorgeous!!! It was very clean and stocked with everything you would possibly need for your stay. Shopping isn't that far away if there is anything extra that you may need.
