It has two back porches, one on top level and one on the lower level. The hot tub is on the lower level for complete privacy from any neighboring cabins or the road. OUR FAVORITE THINGS AT RIVER RIDGE \- game room with professional pool table, arcade, and game table \- wet bar in the game room with an ice machine and wine fridge \- smart TVs in every bedroom, living room, game room and the hot tub \- kayaks provided for on site use \- outdoor dining table with views \- horseshoe pits with string lights \- fire pit with provided firewood LIVING AREA River Ridge has an open concept living, kitchen and dining area as you enter the cabin. There's a huge TV in the living room to never miss a game! Ceiling fans, lamps, and tons of personal touches will make you feel right at home. KITCHEN The kitchen is fully stocked with all major and small appliances to make preparing meals a breeze. A large bar with seating gives plenty of workspace. Everything you'll need is at the cabin for cooking. Just bring your food. The coffee pot is a Keurig Duo and there is a regular Mr Coffee on the downstairs wet bar. We'll leave you basic coffee supplies. SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS River Ridge has 3 bedrooms. Two queens are upstairs and the king master is downstairs. The upstairs bedrooms share a full bath just outside the bedroom doors. The master downstairs has a double vanity bath with a shower. In the game room, there is a day bed with a trundle for the kids. GAME ROOM The game room is a great size and has a pool table, PacMan arcade, large TV and as mentioned above, a wet bar with an ice machine and wine fridge. Its door will lead you to the lower-level back porch and straight to the river. LAUNDRY The full size stackable washer and dryer are located downstairs, just off the bath. Laundry detergent and bleach are also stocked. PETS River Ridge is dog friendly for up to two dogs with an additional $100 fee. Please select the number of pets while making your reservation. LOCAL ATTRACTIONS This cabin attracts both girls' trips and family vacationers and our area has plenty to keep everyone entertained. A 15-minute drive gets you to downtown Broken Bow for eating and shopping. A 20–25-minute drive will take you to Hochatown for hiking, zip lining, go karts, Jeep and boat rentals, tons of restaurants and food trucks and wineries and breweries. There are also plenty of places to shop. We have a petting zoo and a drive-thru safari. Golfing is also available at Cedar Creek at Broken Bow Lake or at the Idabel Country Club. One of the main reasons folks like to vacation at Broken Bow is to float the Mountain Fork River in the summer. Broken Bow has several great outfitters that rent kayaks. The closest being Wild Goose Kayak Rentals, just a couple of minutes from the cabin. Another draw are the fishing guides in our area. Most do tours year-round. You can choose trout or crappie or bass guided fishing trips. Would you rather just relax? We have several spas or you can schedule a traveling massage therapist and enjoy your massage right at the cabin! RULES Please read the rental agreement carefully. It basically states you won’t sue us and the pet fee will be deducted from your security deposit if you don’t pay it. The security deposit is a hold placed on the credit card on file, not an actual charge. It will be released after your check out when no damage is caused to the property. The security deposit for River Ridge is $300. Come enjoy your morning coffee or evening wine on one of the two back porches or catch supper off the floating dock on the river level. One comment (which is not an issue with the property or management at all) is to be aware of the river depth and speed in advance if you're booking the property to swim/kayak. I can't say enough good things about our stay. The cabin was amazing, the view was incredible, and the management was super responsive and replied to our questions within minutes. We didn't have a lot of questions though because they thought of EVERYTHING. The cabin was VERY clean and had everything we needed. We fished off of the private dock, made s'mores on the fire pit, enjoyed coffee and hot chocolate on the full-length porch that faced the river, played pool, arcade games, and so much more. We would have kayaked but the water was pretty cold and we had plenty of other options. We will definitely take advantage of the kayaks on our next visit. All of the beds were super comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook, and then some. My kids didn't even want to use their phones or iPads because they were enjoying the cabin and all its amenities. That says EVERYTHING! None of us wanted to leave but we will absolutely be back to make more memories. Our world is so busy and we are always on the go. The house, the landscape, the decor, lighting, outdoor speakers and all the amenities were absolutely perfect!!! The pictures on the listing really doesn’t do this property the justice it deserves. We had a blast with the kayaks, pool table, horse shoes, and fire pit. Everything was really clean and the kitchen was really nicely stocked. The fridge was completely empty so you’ll need to bring your own condiments (ketchup, mustard, etc). We replaced the charcoal and lighter fluid for the BBQ so the next guest will have available. Wood for fire pit was also provided. The management company was really quick to respond to our needs and questions. Very easy to deal with. Room for improvement: more paper towels, toilet paper, laundry detergent, and some pool stick tips need replaced. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay at this property!!! It has everything you need and want. On cooler days we hung out in the cabin playing pool. Everyone had their own space for privacy too. We were able to kayak when it was warm. It was so nice to get out of the city and into the woods. The place was perfect for what we were looking for: movies, puzzles (that we brought) and games, cooking good food, and relaxing in the hot tub. Cannot wait to return We have been to broken bow several times but never stayed on the river and we loved it! We would absolutely do it again. What a change of pace and a retreat from the overgrown cabins all stacked together. The house was perfectly appointed with everything we could need. This was a great surprise to find the welcome basket and the kitchen well stocked! Everything was so clean and comfortable. The kids are already asking when we can return. Only one side of the hot tubs jets worked, the outside TV did not work, the arcade game did not work, the outside heaters did not work, and the firewood was not stocked for a 5 day stay, disappointing since these were the main features we were looking for. When we called management we were gave excuses or were told everything worked. No one offered to come out to help fix the issue so we could enjoy these things during our stay. Had a couple of friendly mice, no big deal, we are in the woods but management was more concerned with dog hair in the cabin when we left than they were the mice droppings in the dish cabinets and window seals when we got there. Overall it was a nice place to stay but will not visit again. We visit Broken Bow quite often and I have to say this cabin is least favorite yet. ##### Sharonne M. The house was very spacious, very clean and beautiful decorations. Being right on the river was so nice and having kayaks for everyone made this an extra added bonus. The Kids never said they were bored once!! The cabin comfortably accommodated all 8 of us, my wifi issue was fixed the same day within hours and we enjoyed all the amenities!
