Great food in the area and a fun Saturday morning kayak event. Also good food in the area. Highly recommend Mountain Rock Brewery for their pizza. Owners were amazing at communicating with us before and during our stay for anything that we needed. If your looking to get away with family or friends this is the cabin to do it in. Plenty of space for 2 families to share and with the hot tub, board games, game systems, fire pit and beautiful outdoor spaces you will have plenty to do. The town itself has some great stuff to do as well. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to booking again hopefully in the fall or maybe spend a holiday away from home spending quality time with family! There were a few issues with the cleanliness; the coffee filter had not been cleaned from the previous stay and had molded, several mugs had residue of sugar/coffee in the bottoms, and a large amount of small insects (springtails) would gather around the tub/shower drains. It's a short drive away from most shops and activities when we felt the need to venture out, otherwise the cabin had everything to keep everyone entertained. Pros: close to all attractions, clean, rooms are big and each room has its own private bathroom (downstairs room is not a suite) Con: road to cabin is small and has lots of potholes, last step on stairs blend in to the floor, a bit of a walk to the grill which is two flights of stairs. ##### jacki d.
