Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate and it rained the whole time we were visiting. At the end of a long day of sight-seeing it was so nice to come home to a cozy spot. Everything about the listing is spot on, so many little comforts provided by the hosts - coffee pods, linens, towels, welcome bottle of local sparkling water. We enjoyed the lake access across the street as well as the coziness of the cabin with all amenities as noted. Above and beyond accommodating, the hosts have supplied shampoo, body wash, cream rinse, hair dryer and skin moisturizer in the bathroom; coffee, tea, sugar and creamers, salt and pepper in the kitchen, so you can forget packing all that stuff! Plus, a nice little surprise for you on the kitchen table. We were only here for 2 full days and though it was quite a lot cooler this last week of August, we still at least sat on the 'beach' each day. No restaurants to recommend because I brought all our food from home. We had a great fire in the firepit with s'mores on our last night, thankful the wind had adequately died down. It was a swell little mini vacation in a swell little Adirondack cabin escape! ##### Celia V. Our entire experience was great. Communication was quick, informative and friendly! Check in and check out couldn’t have been easier. The space was very clean, and the wood planking and decor really set a great mountain/ lake vibe. What I really loved was the informative booklet they left which that was even wonderfully designed! But it gave great suggestions and details. More importantly, instead of just having the important info there, important info about certain devices (thermostat, fireplace, etc) was posted clearly and simply right by the appliance or device.
