Excellent Hotel very well situated on the Harbour & also only a short walk away from bars, restaurants & Cabot Circus shopping. Walkable to other attractions i.e. Clifton Suspension Bridge. Good size room provides Iron & Board, Safe, Nespresso Coffee Maker & also kettle with tea/coffee making equipment. Temple Spa Toiletries. Slippers/Dressing Gown. We celebrated our Wedding Anniversary here & were touched to find a bottle of Prosecco, Chocolates & a card in our room. We had a lovely stay here.

Once your inside the hotel its has quite a nice feel, the entrance is very impressive but sadly thats were it ends. We did not sleep at all as our room faced onto the river and it was SO noisy from the club across the river. Breakfast too was very average and the parking was very expensive. Overalll, not a great experice.

Great location on the river front, very comfortable bed with very high quality bedding, and nicely decorated. We had 2 rooms one of which was very spacious - 226 - and one which was very small - 225. The small one - had a fab view over the waterfront but was very noisy so would suggest if you are a light sleeper avoid any front facing rooms on the lower floors.

This is the smallest hotel room I’ve ever got for $300.00 ((CAD) a night. So much outside noise in the room that I thought the windows were open. They were not. Bathtub drain is rusty. If this was £60 per night I’d have no complaints, but at $300, not worth it.

What makes us return to The Bristol is the quality of the staff. At Reception I have to single out Sabrina and Nacho for their helpful and friendly approach. In the Cocktail Bar, Lorcan and Valeria were professional and friendly. The only slight disappointment was in our room, where the bathroom lacked a heated towel rail. We will certainly be coming back, probably incorporating a visit to the theatre or a concert as we did on this occasion.

Good hotel overall, accommodating and polite staff. Feels very "hotel", nothing special about the rooms, though the rooms are still fairly nice. Laundry service is a nice plus, particularly for traveling. Easy in and out for popping around Bristol, England. One downside is that the rooms have poor sound insulation, both from exterior noise at the street level and interior noise from other rooms; not terrible but still more than noticeable enough if you're trying to get a good night's sleep.

Check in was exceptional and FOH staff were all amazing and very friendly Room was great and comfortable view not so much would have been nice to over look the river but it was ok . Recommend putting do not disturb on door otherwise maids knock about 8am in the morning. Would highly recommend this hotel it is great and perfect location for the sights and night time drinks . The room was upgraded for us upon arrival. Our room was clean and tidy, very comfortable beds! My only problem, so to speak, was the bathroom ceiling looking a little dirty- probably needs a fresh coat of paint, but there was someone's hair on it. Staff were friendly and helpful in all areas, including the bar staff. The property is well presented, very bright, fresh and modern with lots of comfortable seating.

Over night theater break
It was our first time staying at the bristol hotel we thought the location was great and suitable for our trip to the hippodrome. On arrival the staff were friendly and very helpful our room was a good size lovely king size bed with comfortable chairs which i like in an hotel room it was nice and clean We went down to the bar for a drink the gentleman serving was polite and informed us the would come and take our order i thought that was a nice touch. We included breakfast in our stay and im glad we did it didn't disappointed there was a wonderful selection to choose from i would definitely recommend this hotel and will be returning.

Great hotel for a weekend or short stay in Bristol. Located right on the quay within short walk to the main attractions. Parking adjacent to the hotel. Really helpful reception staff. Very tasty full english breakfast buffet. Room on a smaller side but comfortable. It would have been nice to have a mini-bar but room service was outstanding (food was delightful). Room showing signs of time with some wallpaper peeling off. Fantastic cocktail bar downstairs.

This is the second time I’ve stayed here, first time was lovely, this time wasn’t so great. My sat nav couldn’t find the right road to go down, it was all bus lanes. So parking cost me £25 in another car park. The person on reception wasn’t that helpful with directions. The rooms are lovely, but this time I heard everything either side of our room. From the early hours. It was very warm in our room too, even though the heating wasn’t on. I would stay here again but hopefully I’ll have a better experience.

Stayed at the hotel as work had a function booked there at night. The first room I got, the door did not work as apparently the battery is low..so it would have been a gamble if I get into my room or not. They moved me a room along with the same layout and it was fine except one of the desk drawers was broken and opened constantly, which gave me a nice bruise on my leg. Needed to wedge it close with a magazine. It looked all nice but I got the feeling the hotel started to age and maintenance on broken things was not a priority. However the room was clean and had a lovely view to the harbour (be aware this will be loud at night time, especially on the weekend). And it has a good location being in the city centre. The function itself run till 1am and was kind of ok. Nothing special but also not too bad. Except at 1am when it finished they let bouncers descend on everyone. You could not even collect your bag and say good bye to everyone without one of them demanding in rude form to leave right now. At the check out I did not get a bill with my extras and was told it will be sorted out over my credit card. I booked this hotel for convenience and it was ok for that, would I stay there again... No. It definitely did not feel like a four star hotel to me.
