Beautiful grounds and views. Could hear the traffic on the road but it wasn't instrusive in any way. Ideal for two people. We just felt it needed an extra bit of attention in a few areas: there was quite a bit of dust and cobwebs in corners although bathroom and kitchen etc were very clean indeed. Kitchen utensils basic and some needed renewing. Living space a little cramped due to very large sofa and storage in bedroom difficult as in eaves and no decent chest of drawers. However, lots of storage downstairs for boots, walking gear, coats etc which is always helpful. Super fast broadband and good TV. Cottage was very clean and well furnished and the private access into the woodland at the back of the property was a great highlight. Check-in was just as the instructions we were given. The walks from the cottage were amazing, and there was a private footpath to the woods.
