The hallway we were in was entirely non-smoking. However there were clearly multiple rooms where pot smoking was going on - the hallway reeked of it. There were almost no snacks available for purchase. When I wanted to purchase a Diet Coke, there was only the warm display item available.

The man at the front desk was extremely kind and helpful. However, he told me to check the sheets when we got in the room.
