Cylinder Beach, like Noosa's Main Beach and Rainbow Beach on the Gold Coast, are north facing beaches with protective headlands and because of this offer safe swimming away from the prevailing south easterly winds. The units face north which gives them winter sun and summer breezes, have spectacular ocean and beach views and are walking distance to shops, restaurants and the Hotel. Units have direct beach access via walkways through landscaped gardens. Two levels of living. Entry level: living/dining, kitchen, covered deck with fabulousocean and beach views, bathroom/toilet, laundry. Upstairs three bedrooms (all with built-ins). Master bedroom has ensuite, covered deck with fabulous beach and ocean views. Three bathrooms (ensuite to main bedroom, full sized bath in upstairs family bathroom), three toilets. Reviewer Comments: From the moment we walked into the house we were absolutely excited to spend a week here. The house was perfectly set up for us all to have a comfortable stay. We went with 2 teenage daughters and my mum, so having space is important. We also loved being able to do a jigsaw together in the spacious living area. The kitchen is well supplied and it was easy to keep things clean and tidy with the supplies given.The location was just where we needed to be, with surf out front or a walk away for our two surfers and the walking from the front door provided us something new each day. Fabulous location and views. Photos of apartment do not do it justice. Its the best view and layout for a family or 2 couples with kids. Bedrooms are a good size as are the three bathrooms (2 of them upstairs). Veranda both off living room and main bedroom gets sun all day which is great considering it was 21 degree days. Pleasant walk through the garden stairs then across carpark and straight onto beach that is always patrolled. When you are ready to come back from beach apartment block has shower and hose to wash the sand of you and the board. They even have a hose dedicated to washing the car of sand if you end up 4WD on beaches nearby. Accommodation and weather were both first class.
