Transportation to the airport from an airport hotel should be free of charge. It was 16$ for two in a less than respectable bus. Never again, sorry!

Situé à 3 kms de l aéroport. Navette payante. A savoir : Un bus gratuit assure les navettes entre le centre commercial à proximité et l aéroport . (Compter 15 dollars AU pour la navette) Wifi annoncé gratuit...au final une seule heure gratuite et même pas réussi à se connecter. Piscine ouverte sur le toit : sympa pour les enfants. Prévoir !! Aucun moyen de se restaurer aux alentours après 20h. Donc dans l ensemble ok . Juste s'organiser pour les points ci dessus

Good to have two double beds. However, tiles in shower are slippery. No rubber mat in room but supplied when asked for. Needs to be much bigger to cover the walk-in part of the shower. A must for my 84 year old mother. More Earl Grey tea bags too - only one compared to 4 ordinary ones. Otherwise, well appointed room, good food - dinner and breakfast - and very helpful and friendly staff.

This was the stingiest buffet breakfast in all my years of enjoying hotel breakfasts. All offerings meant for everyone to share were in very tiny bowls.Eg: The total amount of museli meant to be shared amongst all the guests was contained in a single breakfast bowl - so you only reasonably take a little spoonful not a bowl size amount. All stewed fruit was also served in very small containers. Yogurt was in one single size plate but meant to be shared. Shame on Novotel Brisbane Airport. I have had wonderful, generous breakfasts at other Novotels.

The hotel is only 6 minutes drive from the airport. The staff were friendly. The in room dining had great options and was reasonably priced. The room and its amenities however seems outdated.

Nice preference over the other options
I usually stay at the airport Ibis because it claims to be walking distance to the domestic terminal (if you consider hauling your suitcase up and down escalators and across the whole carpark walking distance!) My Novotel stay was better. While I had to catch a taxi from the airport there, in the morning I was on the same very efficient shuttle service that the Ibis uses, the hotel is nicer, better service and rooms very clean. They had a few issues checking me in but it was resolved and the restaurant gets busy (and slow) at breakfast so I just did takeaway. Overall, a very good stay.

It took quite some time to have staff attend to our check in at about 4pm. Two reception staff were checking others in but did not acknowledge us and they seemed to be making small talk with the customers as the formalities were already completed when we arrived.

Room is small but as expected, for our family of 4 of us just stay there for a couple of hours to get some sleep before our early morning flight. We pre-booked a transfer to airport and I told the staff that we will fly to HK via Sydney, but the driver was told by hotel to took us to international airport, and turns out we should be in domestic airport. We finally spent 30 mins more on getting to the right airport. This was a hiccup. Other than that the hotel is good, we didn't get our complimentary breakfast though. There is a big Outlet which is just few steps away and so we enjoyed a bit of shopping before we come back home.
