All bedrooms have ceiling fans, and the downstairs bedroom is air-conditioned for extra comfort. Families will love the kids’ TV room downstairs, also accessed externally, keeping everyone entertained. The home is fully screened to let the breeze in while keeping the bugs out and comes with WiFi, two TVs, and a DVD player. The kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, microwave, dishwasher, and espresso machine with pods supplied, and the deck includes a BBQ, making it easy to enjoy meals outdoors. This was our second time staying at Cylinder Sands. It's such a lovely house in a perfect location across from Cylinder Beach, 2 minutes walk to the shops and 5 minutes to the pub. The house is well appointed with plenty of utensils to cook just about anything. The side patio is a great place to just relax with a beer and enjoy the afternoon breeze. The house is fantastic with views of the ocean. There’s also a deck in the back yard that looks over the top of the house out to the ocean and other islands. The house itself is well appointed although I do find it weird that there are 2 air con units for 2 small rooms downstairs, an air con units for one of the upstairs rooms but no air con in the living areas. It was ok though, the house can be opened up and it’s nice and breezy. The outdoor shower was a nice way to cool off when we couldn’t be bothered walking to the beach, which is only 2 minutes walk, directly across the road.
