If you travel to the west tip of the island, there is a little hidden golf gem. The people were very nice and friendly. The hide-a bed couch mattress was horrible as an adult. Paper thin and killed my back. The main bed was ok. Screaming birds are loud! Lovely hotel manager, spacious room, cute pool, attractive property. I usually always bring our own soaps and shanpoos etc but was running low on space in the car so didnt this time, so was a little disappointed to not find any face washers, shampoo and conditioners etc, especially with 6 kids. Thankfully they had bar soaps so we made do. They did provide kitchen detergents though which helped. Das Zimmer war sauber kleine Küche mit Spülmaschine, Waschmaschine sowie kleiner Herd, Mikrowelle und Wasserkocher enthalten. Die Anlage ist sauber und der Pool und die Liegen sind perfekt. Was uns absolut nicht gefallen hat. - Als wir einchecken wollten war keiner vor Ort. Wir mussten dann anrufen und bekam einen Rückruf mit Zimmernummer und Information. Das Problem, die meisten ausländischen Besucher haben nur eine eSIM und nur Daten gebucht für Australien und kein Telefon. Also musste ich meine deutsche Nummer aktivieren und einen wirklich teuren Anruf tätigen. - WLAN ist überhaupt nicht zu gebrauchen eine ganz schlechte Verbindung. - Es wird ja mit Balkon oder Patio geworben aber das ist wenn du aus deiner Tür rauskommst, hast du einen kleinen Tisch und zwei Stühle da stehen. Und da alle Apartments in einer lange Reihe sind, hast du gleich überall Nachbarn. - Neben uns war eine Familie, die ein großes Apartment mit sieben ! Personen bewohnt hat was wirklich untragbar war von der Lautstärke her, das ging überhaupt nicht. Also Ruhe sieht für mich etwas anders aus. Deswegen sind wir auch schon ein Tag früher wieder abgereist. Die Anlage ist sehr kinderfreundlich. The tiled floor felt a little dank to walk on so I wore socks while inside. Spoke to the manager and she allowed us to leave our things in the room until 12, when the cleaner would do our unit. Nice, but not great for a family of four (without a car) who want to stay on the island for the day! Had air con on 28 degrees and didn't help. Floor tiles were freezing to walk on. Asked for more towels (no hand towel or bath mat) and said it would cost extra. Bed was so uncomfortable slept on sofa. (Bed should be upgraded to Queen or King size). No breakfast or phone. Would not stay there again. Bathroom had no vanity and shower weak and spurted water from top. TV also needs to be bigger as room is spacious. The pool was a welcome amenity although it had minimal shade and therefore the water was too warm. Excellent location--within walking distance of beach, jetty, and cafes yet at end of cul-de-sac so property was nice and quiet. There was no one at the accommodation to let us in because we booked after 16:00hrs, so I had to walk around all the rooms to see if there was one open. The proprietor didn’t ring me back when I left a message on her mobile, so it cost me a further £5+ to ring her again! There was nowhere to get a drink or anything to eat as they (3 off them) were all closed! The pool had duck c..paround and in it, the furniture was damaged and rusty, etc, etc. Nobody there in the morning when we left! We went with friends and our rooms were next to each other, and our kids loved it. Safe, clean and the pool was beautiful.
