The hotel was on the route for the connector shuttle from the airport. Friendly staff gave us our room 6 hours before check-in time ( much needed after the very long flight). The concierge directed us to a wonderful day in Brisbane and found a private car in lieu of a taxi ( at same cost) to our destination. great service, nice river view room.
Very quiet comfortable room with a great view of the city and the river, easy walking to any thing needed. Parking was expensive but good.buffet breakfast was very good and you could take away treats for the rest of the day...nice!
We were hot the first night in our room..the AC only went down to 18C...no top sheet on the beds.
Great place to stay:)
We stayed on a short visit for family function in Brisbane.
The staff were friendly and courteous, and upgraded us unexpectedly so that we had superb views across the city.
We did mange a swim in the relaxing and elegant pool. Plus we had room service, and the food was great with a good choice from menu.
The check out and everything else was easy, with taxis organised, and as we had a day in Brisbane the cold bottle of water handed to us by the concierge when we got into our taxi was much appreciated.
We stayed for 2 nights in a studio apartment. Close to Central train station and a very short walk to the city centre. Massive room, really modern. Very comfortable stay. The staff were really helpful and friendly. The cafe next door is also worth a visit.

We made a snap decision to go away the Aussie day weekend 2 weeks prior, and to use it as a base to take our 9 yo daughter to some theme parks.
It was a fantastic location as we used Qld Rail for our transport and you never went outdoors to get to the station, just down stairs!
Fri, night arrival, Sat, Sun and Mon nights and we upgraded to a club room.
I am sorry to say this hotel club room is very large but nothing when cced to the InterCon or Shangri-La club rooms and lounges.
It may be considered good in Brisbane, but not overseas or Melb/Syd.
The breakfast was good...we eat downstairs all of the time! (not in the club lounge).
Overall, because of its location, it was good for us, although not worth the $ we spent.
This hotel is set in a heritage building directly opposite Central Station. Very convenient location. Clean and comfortable rooms. Friendly staff. The air-conditioning unit was a bit noisy and there isn't a pool. But the convenience of being so close to the train station is a draw card if you need to travel early.
The Brisbane CBD straddles the Brisbane River and has ample parks, including the Brisbane City Botanic Gardens. The area is easily walkable and there are many restaurants with outdoor seating—if it’s late enough you may be able to catch some live entertainment. Across the river in South Bank you’ll find an exciting shopping experience at the Friday night and weekend markets with more than 80 vendor stalls.
