"Greeted well by reception staff, who showed us to our room and carried my wife’s luggage. Whilst this is categorically not a 5 star hotel, the bed was superbly comfortable as well as the pillow. Breakfast probably let the hotel down, the breakfast room you can’t swing a cat around and the offer was limited, perhaps as it was 09:30 when we got down there all the good stuff had gone, nevertheless, we will stay there again as it suited our purposes perfectly "

First time when we visited Tenuta Mazzetta we were taken by the tranquility of this place - amazing pool, beautiful gardens, very friendly and welcoming staff and this rustic farmy feel. "An unhappy experience. When we arrived at our hotel we were told it was closed due to a "technical problem" and that we were booked in a different hotel. While the other hotel was very well situated, it was tired looking, no wi-fi in the rooms, and we had the worst room in the hotel, looking out on a service courtyard instead of a sea view. Heating rails in the bathroom did not work. No window or extractor fan in the bathroom either."
