Smugglers snug is a bright and airy 2 bedroom maisonette over looking Rottingdean highstreet and beach. The location really doesn’t get much better for easy access to the beach. Bring the whole family to this great place with lots of room for fun. The property has been designed and refurbished to the highest of standards.

Smugglers snug is located just seconds from Rottingdean seafront. In terms of location it really doesn't get much better for easy access to the beach which is seconds from the front door. Rottingdean high street has lots of shops, tearooms and pubs right on your doorstep. It is a 20 minute drive to Brighton Pier, Brighton's Royal Pavilion, the world famous Lanes and the North Laine area which is packed with over 600 independent retailers selling everything from antiques to vegetarian shoes. Alternatively if you enjoy walking you can take a walk along to Brighton Marina or a quick bus or car ride along where you will find yacht harbour, shopping hub with fashion boutiques, galleries, craft shops, casual eateries with terraces overlooking the water, Casino thats open 24/7 and Bowling complex. You can catch the Volk’s Electric Railway which shuttles between the Marina and Brighton Pier

Large living room with large stylish sofa great for chilling out on after a busy day on the beach. We have smart TV for guest to use with app access using there own logins.
2 large double bedrooms, all bright and airy with superking beds with the option for one of the rooms to be split into single beds upon request (at least 1 weeks notice.) The bedrooms have lots of draw and hanging space providing ample storage for your stay.
We have 2 luxury bathrooms both with large modern showers. We provide fluffy towels and complimentary toiletries for each stay.
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you would need to prepare delicious meals should you decide to eat in. Complimentary teas and coffees are included for your stay.
This stunning property comes with a terrace area overlooking the windmill on the south downs. Perfect for alfresco dining and relaxing after a busy day on Rottingdean beach if you're lucky enough to be down here on a scorching hot day.
Iron, ironing board and hairdryer are provided too and you can use washing machine/dryer should you decide to wash your clothes.
Smugglers Snug has plenty of beach equipment such as beach towels, cool bag, picnic hamper, beer coolers and beach toys for children.
Taxi from Brighton station to the apartment will cost around £25, or take a no 2 or 27 bus. You should get off the bus at the Rottingdean High street.
Parking information There is no free parking available on site at the property due to Rottingdean being a small quaint village, however there are residential roads that offer free parking nearby: Park Road, Nevill Road, Newlands Road, Dean Court Road - most roads off the main High Street are free to park. These are subject to availability at the time of parking.
There are also two car parks a short walk from the property, Rottingdean Marine Cliffs and West Street car park.
Rottingdean Marine Cliffs car park - Marine Drive, Rottingdean, BN2 7HY (To the rear of the property) This car park is open 24 hours a day and parking charges apply between 8am and 8pm every day. You can park for a maximum of 12 hours at a time at a cost of £7.60. You can pay using the pay and display machines or by using the PaybyPhone app. The location number for this car park when using the app is 85341.
West Street car park - West Street, Rottingdean, BN2 7HP (Ar the front of the property) This car park is also open 24 hours a day and parking charges apply between 8am and 8pm every day. You can park for a maximum of 3 hours at a time at a cost of £4.50. You can pay using the pay and display machines or by using the PaybyPhone app. The location number for this car park when using the app is 85342.
Alternatively, there are further roads offering free parking just outside of Rottingdean Village however these do require a short walk to the property that will vary from 15 - 30 minutes dependent on where you park (you could talk a lovely walk along the under the Rottingdean under-cliff). You can head towards Saltdean where most of the residential streets are free parking or along Falmer Road heading towards Ovingdean.
If you are looking for a local parking space for a long period of time, we recommend searching the Just Park App where private parking spaces are advertised.
Important information:
You have chosen a great place to stay for your trip. You will get more space, privacy and home away from home feel. However, this property is located in a residential area and guests are asked to refrain from excessive noise. This property will not accommodate hen, stag, under 25's or similar parties.
Please note that in the event of an early departure, the property will charge you for full amount of your stay.
Please make sure that if you do not have permission for later check-out you vacate by 11am, checking-out after 11 am will incur a charge of £30 per hour. This is due to our cleaners having tight cleaning deadlines and delaying them causes issues cleaning another properties.
For stays over 2 weeks, we arrange a mid-stay clean to keep the property fresh and comfortable. This will be charged separately, and we’ll be in touch after booking to arrange this with you.
This property is professionally managed. Our team is available Monday–Friday 10am–6pm and weekends 10am–4pm. Messages sent outside of these hours will be responded to the following day.
Please Note : There is a ring doorbell installed at the property, located on the front door. This is to ensure no unauthorised guests enter the property and for guests safety.
