Snow plowing on neighborhood roads is provided by local vendors and intermittent. Cottonwood Lodging does not have control over snow plowing. DO NOT TAKE UBERS OR LYFTS TO THIS PROPERTY. Check in is from 4pm-8pm to avoid unplowed roads if it is storming and note that this home can accommodate ONLY 2 vehicles. Winter Guided Arrival: \- At the request of the neighborhood to ensure that no one gets stuck or lost and disturbs the locals, a staff member will meet you on the main road and guide you to your property. Please plan to check in by 8pm at the latest to avoid unplowed roads if it is storming. Please do not arrive on your own even if you have stayed with us before. Located at Brighton Resort with access to the Milly Express Lift just a 1 or 2-minute walk up the road, you will immediately feel at ease on your vacation! Excellent amenities (such as large gas fireplaces, smart TVs, a home theater, laundry on-site, and a propane grill) and tasteful furnishings in a warm, cabin-inspired interior combine to create a luxurious and convenient home base for your mountain retreat. PLEASE NOTE - this home has a closed-off studio apartment below the garage with a separate entrance which the owner occasionally occupies. MAIN LEVEL: \-Wraparound Deck- Catch breathtaking views of the mountain off the deck, where you'll also find a private hot tub, propane grill, and exterior gas fireplace! \-Primary Suite- Large primary suite includes a flat-screen smart TV, gas fireplace, and a huge bathroom with jetted tub, double sinks, and separate glass shower. \-Queen Bedroom- One of two tastefully furnished queen bedrooms with tons of closet space! \-Common Bathroom- Full bathroom with double sinks and standing shower. \-Kitchen- Modern kitchen with custom cabinets and counters! The foosball table and ping pong table were loved by the kids. Everything was clean and usable. The only thing missing was measuring cups, which is an easy remedy. They loved the location and the amenities and kept commending me on how amazing it was. We also got a fresh 5in of powder in early April which was amazing. For those going during ski season, like everyone says you absolutely need a 4wd vehicle. But what they don’t say is that you probably don’t want it to be a large truck. One of our 2 vehicles we rented was a large Ram truck and it only fit on one side of the garage, and the turn/angle to back it in was hell every time we wanted to take it out for a drive. Almost not enough time to use all the amenities. I would use it again and recommend for sure. Easy to hop on the after a short walk to the slopes. Our 5 year old had a little difficulty with the run to ski back to the house but we helped her and hand a ton of fun.
