We are located in Brighton, Utah, just 19 miles east of Salt Lake City at the top of Big Cottonwood Canyon. During the summertime, Brighton is peaceful and serene, but not lacking adventurous activities! You can cast your fishing line into the nearby Silver Lake, which is constantly filled with trout. Not into fishing? You can leisurely wander around the lake enjoying the beautiful views of nature on the environment-protecting boardwalk. These activities are an easy 5-minute walk from our chalets. For those in search of a more difficult hike, there are four beautiful mountain lakes that constantly draw the attention of the ambitious hiker. The popular Guardsman's Pass mountain biking trails bring spectacular views and perfect terrain. Photographers have a heyday at Brighton because of the many amazing images to capture which include fields of the famous Brighton wildflowers. The views captivate tourists as well, who are making their way to Brighton Chalets. After exploring the area and taking advantage of the many activities, most days end with a relaxing evening BBQ. Skiers and snowboarders enjoy an easy 1-minute walk to the Brighton Ski Resort lifts to experience the lighter-than-air snow! Positioned just across the street from Brighton Resort's Milly Express, Our Brighton Chalets provide easy access to the mountain resort! Thanks to the over 500 inches of powder each winter, Brighton's famous “Highest Base Elevation of 8,577 Ft.” is the best wintertime skiing in the area. No one gets more snow than we do! With the abundance of snow located right in our backyard, wintertime activities include skiing and snowboarding at Brighton Resort, cross-country skiing at Solitude's Nordic Center, and snowmobiling over Guardsman's Pass, to mention the more vigorous activities. Everyone, even the seasoned locals, is awestruck by the pristine beauty of Brighton's winter wonderland, the epitome of the “Greatest Snow on Earth.” We feature individual private chalets of all sizes for guests who want something more unique than the usual hotels or condos. Our suites come in all sizes, from luxury bridal suites for honeymooners to Manor Chalets with a open layout, which we built for ski clubs, family reunions, seminars, and meetings of all types. We are located across the street from the Brighton Resort's Milly Express lift. Under the TV in living room, there are 2 baskets that have twin bedding in them. (These are labeled). The throws are just in the basket by the fireplace or on the couch. In the office, the bedding is in a bag by the desk and a throw on the couch. In the Master Bedroom, the throw is on the couch. The bedding is in a bag on the shelf of the free standing closet organizer. In the King Bedroom upstairs, the bedding is in the dresser and the throw is in the dresser too or on the bed. A lot of the times you think something might be too good to be true, but that is not the case here. The location to Brighton is terrific and roughly a 4 minute walk across the parking lot or a 30 second ski off the milly express. Much larger than the photos make it seem and extremely clean and the hot tub was in terrific condition. We will be back! ##### Trey N. The place is great with everything you need to cook and more (which is important since there aren't many places to eat out). The condo is big and comfortable with the hot tub right out the door (although it's shared, nobody else was using it when we were there so it felt like it own private jacuzzi). The property manager was very responsive to any needs / issues which we really appreciated. The skiing across the street (10 minute walk to ticket booth, 7 minute to closest lift) is amazing, some of the best snow ever, locals come here, and essentially no lines! Very spacious apartment . Very few downs . Noise and no big stake knife . That’s it . The rest is perfect . The apartment is like divided in two so is convenient for kids on one side (easily 6 kids ) and a lot of privacy on the other side for the parents . Sadly, there is only one pot and pan to cook with. I read previous reviews and took extra pots and pans. We are local enough to do that but someone traveling from afar probably wouldn’t. A few glasses were missing already and one cracked , but we don’t use glass so it didn’t phase us but we didn’t want to be charged for it either, We had some younger crowds in the other rooms , they partied well into the wee hours but who wouldn’t at that age ! We also went to Park City , totally not impressed, we loved the Brighton area and the staff there was great!!! We are from Florida so, we didn’t try the hot tub a bit chilly for us but next time ! Some things recommended : For larger groups or families there is definitely a need for more pots to cook in . Maybe some board games also . Thanks for a great first Utah Family trip . For future, i would highly comment how close the home was to the lift chair. I would post walking accross the parking lot is the chair lift. We enjoyed coming back to the chalet to enjoy our lunch. The only recommendation i have is to have more pots to cook with. The home sleeps 11 people but only had 1 medium size pot and frying pan. Cooking for 9 of us was difficult and taking turns eating. Meal time was a fail because the lack of pots to cook with. Besides that little misfit, everthing was just perfect. Thank you. Will definitely rent again in the future. ##### Amelia T.
