We had a great stay here, if only for one night. Pam at the front desk phoned to let us know our room was ready if we would like an early check in, how thoughtful! We really appreciated the kitchenette since we needed to refrigerate some items. Everything was spotlessly clean and the bed comfortable. Close enough to Bridgetown to have eating options on hand. Will definitely be back, thank you!

The cottage was uncomfortable, dark and old . Kitchen utensils were cheap, no counter space, no cutting board, very difficult to work in. The whole place was drab and depressing. Price was way beyond what they were offering . The tv was practically on the ceiling and was tiny. Very uncomfortable living area. Very disappointed with this place.

We are sorry you didn't enjoy your stay. I know our Staff were speaking with you multiple times during your stay and everything was going well so this review is very puzzling. I know for a fact our cottage 9 is not how you described it. There have been multiple upgrades in that cottage over the past few years including new appliances, dishes, and cutlery. The reason we use a glass cutting board is for sanitary reasons which we take very seriously here at our property. Furthermore, our property is certainly not drab and depressing, maybe it was the 3 days of rain that made you feel that way. All of this being said, if it were as unacceptable as you say then we would have moved you no problem. We always strive to look after all of our guests as is obvious by every other review we have received.

This was a very pleasant surprise. Our room was recently renovated and it was a nice place to stay during a long week of travel. Our host was wonderful at reception and gave us great advice on navigating our meal options in town after we checked in later than we expected. Our host also made a point of coming out to greet us as we were leaving to make sure we were aware of the changing weather conditions and offered alternate travel options when she thought we would be heading in to a storm.

A great stay!
We enjoyed staying here. Our room was very clean, comfortable, well-maintained and well-appointed. We had a full kitchen which included a dishwasher, hob, oven, fridge and freezer, microwave, toaster, cooking utensils, saucepans, cutlery and crockery. There was a dining table with room to seat four. There was free wifi and a flat screen cable tv. The bathroom had a bath with a shower over it and there was plenty of very hot water. Shampoo, conditioner and soap were provided along with lots of towels. The heating in the room was very effective. There was plenty of parking, seating outside our room (if the weather had been warmer) and there was also a BBQ and firepit area. Our room was quiet and the surrounding countryside was lovely. The staff were welcoming and could not have been more helpful. If we are ever in the area again, we would not stay anywhere else. It had everything we needed, was easy to find and was excellent value for money. We highly recommend staying here.

This property is in a quiet location. There is a beautiful fire pit and benches to use, horseshoe pits, barbecue area and a view of the north mountain. The owner is super friendly and accommodating, and her cat Buddy was a fan favourite of my daughter.

We had an amazing stay! Rooms are clean, cozy, and really make you feel at home. Staff are friendly, helpful, very kind, and will do everything they can to ensure a great stay. We go on vacation a lot and this is by far the best hotel we've stayed at. Would definitely go back if we were to visit again. Guaranteed a spectacular stay!

Extremely friendly staff who try their best to cater to your needs. The room looked brand new and I could see renovations to other parts of the property as well. Spacious with temperature control in each room, a kitchen fully stocked with cooking utensils and cutlery, a TV with free satellite, and property-wide wifi. There was also a grocery store, liquor store and laundromat just a few minutes away which was very convenient. They even had some unadvertised amenities like croquet, horseshoes, a large open grassy outdoor area, and a public gas BBQ area that guests could use at no cost. The only suggestion I would have is that they include some drawers in the rooms so that guests don't have to use their suitcases for storage. I would love to stay again but I have a feeling this place will be completely booked most of the year. Thank you for the wonderful stay!
