We love staying at the Scholar when we are traveling to Morgantown for WVU sports or events. It’s right downtown, so convenient to bars and restaurants. We walk everywhere and even take the convenient PRT, which is a very easy walk from Scholar. The staff are the best! The hotel is clean and always has what we need. Can’t wait to be back!

Beautiful room, very clean. No complaints. No kitchen utensils or things like that in the kitchen, we didnt need them so it didn't bother us.

The hotel is a renovated older building. You can feel its history and the location is perfect if you're wanting the Morgantown experience. Centrally located off the high street, with excellent restaurants a short walk away. The staff were all wonderful. Parking is adjacent and secure for a small daily fee.

Our stay was so pleasant. Our upgrade put us in a suite which was spacious and comfortable. Check-in service was excellent! We will definitely stay again.

First Time at the Scholar
The stay was pretty great. A lot of people were happy to talk to me and give me suggestions about where to eat in the area. The people were so pleasant. It was a wonderful experience overall and I'd be happy to stay at the Scholar from here on out.

If you are a Hilton Honors member advise to book through hilton and not Expedia as they get room priority and could trump one booked through Expedia

Hotel is really nice and clean and location to downtown WVU is great. Bring your own chargers because no USB ports are available. Also parking garage is tricky for big cars, although free.

This was our first time staying in Morgantown. It was just a quick stop overnight on our way home from vacation. The location was quite precarious. After check-in we made the decision to pack up and leave the property and kept on our way.
