Love the Cain house. Love the hospitality. Mattress was reeaaaallllyyy soft. Love the end of the season vibe in Bridgeport. Love the colors. Love Rocky!!!

A stop before Yosemite
This was a stop before Yosemite. We were looking for location convinience. We got it. This hotel is located on our way to Yosemite. It is a bit old and outdated. And FYI - this is a motel. Very small bathroom and shower. Price is reasonable. Free WiFi. Free coffe and tea in the morning and that’s about it!! Don’t expect any nice amenities. Basic motel.

Loved the Cain house! Felt so homey in its charming antique decor and included all the amenities you’d fine in a big chain resort. Loved how quiet it was. Most of all the staff (proprietor) was so helpful in many ways!

Love the history of the property. We stayed in the Cain House, which is part of the Silver Maple Inn. Each room is themed and very charming. We noticed that our room had not been “cleaned” properly. We took pictures and brought them to the attention of the person at the front desk. We were staying for three nights and they refunded us two nights!! Roxanne was more than generous and made sure our stay there was a pleasant one. I highly recommend the Silver Maple Inn!!

Strong Toxic Odor
Unfortunately the rooms smelled of Pinesol or a toxic cleaning agent that caused an allergic reaction forcing us to cancel our stay and go elsewhere for the night. They gladly refunded my money and understood our concerns for our health.

Super friendly and helpful front desk staff person! And the grounds are beautiful. You can walk the entire town from the hotel, and the front porch is a great place to enjoy a glass of wine and view the amazing Sawtooth Ridge!

Nice motel for a overnight stay. Our only issue was the bakery in town was not open. If you Google coffee shops in Bridgeport, the Shell Gas Station pops up. That is why... But the Motel is very "quaint"

Stayed in the Cain House Monte Cristo room. Very nice old home. Nice to open the windows. Staff very nice. Very clean and well looked after. Easy walking distance to restaurants.

Dated but beautiful! The staff is amazing! We booked a room in the Cain House instead of the main motel. Its like a super old ranch house that was converted. It is incredible! Comfortable and clean rooms. Walkable to good food. Great park like area to sit back and have a drink in. Will definitely stay here again next time we go to Yosemite!

This was a great roadside in. In fact, stellar. Beautiful green lawn. I knew there was a grill so I cleaned out my freezer since I was moving and brought some grillables for my journey (bring your own utensils). Perfect spot for my dog - we loved walking around the neighborhood it was so pretty at sunset! The owner (or manager) I spoke to at check in said that as long as pet owners keep their pets in check they won't have to charge a pet fee so hey! be a nice pet owner and make sure your pup doesn't destroy stuff (or crate them!) to keep it a great option for all :)

The park like setting outside was really nice. The room we had at the Silver Maple Inn was small but adequate, and clean, with all of the necessary amenities. Staff was very helpful. I plan to stay there on future visits to the area.

Check in was super easy and staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are good size, the beds were pretty comfy, and the A/C worked great. Having a small fridge was very nice as well. Although the property is older, it is very well kept and the grounds are beautiful to sit out in the evening and enjoy the sunset. We would definitely return to the Silver Maple Inn.

Quaint and clean pitstop on the way to other destinations. Light sleepers should beware of the loud in-room AC units, noisy trucks/traffic passing by all night, and the soft beds. Property overall has a well-kept vintage vibe.

Older property with old time charm. Well maintained and the staff could not be more accommodating. People in this town are very friendly. Great food and drink within a 2 minute walk. Will be staying here on our next visit.

Our dog's favorite
What a find! As a couple traveling with a dog, this was a great place to stay. Very friendly service, easy parking right outside of the rooms, and a beautifully kept inner courtyard to walk and play with the dog. Our dog's favorite place by far! Great ammenities for a small place including TV with DirecTV and loads of channel options, outdoor gas grills, and all the in-room essentials you would get at a hotel. Bonus: walk to the bakery down the street for a great breakfast!

Charming property in a charming town. Loved the grassy areas and tables to sit and enjoy spectacular views of nearby mountain ranges. Walk to plenty of restaurants and bars. Cain Cottage was as expected, with basic kitchen and bathroom. Would stay here again.

It was lovely but dirty. The sheets had a lot of hair in them, and the room smelled so strongly of scented cleaning supplies that it was hard to sleep. You need to bring your own shampoo & conditioner, and I would recommend grabbing your own pillow case too.

Silver Maple is a beautiful Inn with the combination of antique furniture and modern conveniences that made this a fabulous stay. There is a spacious yard for relaxing under the stars in this remote town where you can still see the Milky Way without city lights. Bridgeport is a hidden gem.
